Cute store, been in here a few times where the overall experience is hit & miss. Pros - a large selection of items from the nostalgia of childhood Sanrio stores, from K-POP to anime, you're bound to find something. If you have a favorite character, you're most likely to find something here. Cons - it's small, cramped. While the selection is large if the store is busy it's hard to shop. You can tell they have a theft problem by all the photos they have posted around the store. I'm not against that, but you are definitely watched as you shop. Prices are okay, some thing I feel are over priced like one sheet of stickers, but then a pin was cheaper than a thought. Customer service is just so so. Worth a stop for Sanrio, anime, kpop lovers with lots of stationay, trinkets, & stuffed animals.
I guess I had a lot of faith that they sold authentic items but a lot of their stuff was not genuine. I got a dupe from a set I’d bought at the mall, got home and realized it says “Sanoio”. The photos on the gachapon didn’t have any branding, just photos so I should’ve known better. A lot of the blind boxes did not seem authentic either. It doesn’t really bother me that much but it’s a little off putting.
One of my favorite stores to find stationary items and plushies! They have pretty fair prices on their items, and honestly you just have to look around to find a hidden gem! The store is a bit cramped and can be overwhelming to look around when it's busy. I used to have some issues with employees watching over me or following me around, but over the years they seem to have relaxed on that and are more welcoming than before! Would recommend checking them out on weekdays or weekend mornings to be able to take your time in the store.
i would rate 0 stars if i could. the employees follow you around like you’re a literal criminal from the moment you walk in. they constantly just stare and treat you like you’re stealing. the owner/manager obviously does not know how to run a store if they hire miserable people like this, or maybe they are just as miserable. it seems like this is a common experience based on the other reviews. very overpriced for UNOFFICIAL items. they act like this stationary store is the damn navy, NOT a good business practice if you want returning customers and hopefully they’ll realize that before they go bankrupt 🥱
I’m just finding out so much of the stuff they sell is fake. Many of the blind boxes are fake, but only the Smiskis and Sonny Angels are labeled as such. When you ask employees if Mofusand and others are legit, they will lie and tell you they are real, but upon opening the blind boxes even the Mofusand’s are fake. I understand that a lot of the K-pop merch outside of albums will be fake (keychains, pins, plushies, etc) however, what I was not prepared for was lomo cards being passed off as POBs. I was disappointed when the Seventeen Lucky Draw machine only spit out cards that were parts of completed sets for $5, so no POBs, exclusives, or even album cards. But even beyond that, POBs priced at $9+ at the counter, most of us don’t know what some POBs will look like in person, so we jump at the chance to buy one when it matches a template. Severely disappointed that the owner is knowingly selling lomo cards like that.
