This review is for the 99 Ranch food counter only: 99 Ranch Market Food Counter is a quick, no frills food stop inside the mall. It is set up like a Panda Express style line, with trays of hot dishes plus a small dim sum selection. The focus here is clearly volume over quality. The food is very oily, so just know what you are getting into. They also have roasted duck and fried pork. There combo plates are stuffed huge. It does the job if you need something fast and filling, and there are tables nearby to sit and eat, which of nice, at least. There is also a separate dessert counter at the end if you want something sweet after. Not a place to seek out, but it works if the mood and pocket book hit you.

Store opened few years ago. Still clean and nice to visit. Traditional choice of fish on ice. Traditional fish frying service. Staff is friendly and helpful. Freshly cooked food is great especially smelt and baby calamari. Katsu can be good but not every time. Great choice of fresh meat including special things like pork knee. My number one Chinese store in California these days.

This is one of the newer 99 Ranch in the area. Its conveniently located inside of Oakridge Mall. Market 5/5 There is no asian market or fishy smell. The fruit, vegetable, and meats are all fresh. Everything is organize and clean. There's a bakery, milk tea, Chinese BBQ, Dim Sum and plate food counter. Price is bit higher compare to other Asian markets but it make worth in cleanliness, quality, and variety of items. Food Counter 3.5/5 If you shop at the market you can get dollar of coupons for their food court. Ordered 2 item plate with the noodles, short ribs and stuffed squid. Noodle was a little hard and bland. The ribs had good flavor but a bit tough. The squid was borderline inedible due to the fishy so didn't even eat that. Also Chinese burrito which is essential a rice roll with pork filling. There was a bit too much rice compare to the ratio of pork. Carb overload in one package.

I really enjoy going to this market. Parking is easy, there's lots of variety, the meat section is excellent and so is the produce. 1 star down for customer service because it's hard to find help when you need assistance finding something, and they will kind just point you to an aisle where it may possibly be lol. Otherwise, I do enjoy this market, over all others.
