The two times I come here and the cashier ladies are rude to you and not welcoming what should you think. Nice big store with lots of variety of supermarket items. I love the snack aisle. I would give 5 stars if the employees were nice and welcoming to non Asians. I don’t know if I’ll go back to this location.

This is a nice clean store with fresh produce, meats, seafood, Asian style products and drinks, household items, and more. We bought some snacks and bottled milk tea.

I had a terrible experience with cashier Emma Luna – rude, humiliating, and likely discriminatory! I went to 99 Ranch Market today to do my grocery shopping. After finishing my first purchase (around $100), I realized I forgot to buy onions, so I went back in to grab just one onion. When I got to the checkout, the cashier, Emma Luna, scanned my onion and said coldly: "Thirty cents." I told her I have a membership card for points, and she just repeated louder: "Thirty cents." I didn't understand what she meant, so I said "so?" She suddenly raised her voice, widened her eyes, and yelled at me: "It's only thirty cents!!!" I was stunned. She then shouted: "30 cents get no points, every 50 cents get 1 point!" — and while saying that, she aggressively thrust her hand toward me with one finger sticking out, as if to shove that "1 point" in my face. Her whole demeanor was wild and frantic; she was flailing her arms and looked like she had lost her mind. I finally understood, nodded, and indicated that I would just pay without using my membership. But she refused to let it go and insisted: "You want to fill in your number and see? Go ahead, you can fill in, go ahead." I felt embarrassed and said "it's OK," but she forced me to enter my number. I did it just to avoid further conflict. While printing the receipt, she kept muttering: "I told you 30 cents got no points, you still want to try, I let you try, don't know if you used your card before..." When she handed me the receipt, she yanked it and showed it to me as if to prove I was wrong and she was right. It felt like she was venting her anger on me. What I don't understand is: I had no idea that 30 cents wouldn't earn points. She never explained – she just kept shouting "thirty cents." And when I agreed to skip the membership, she refused my request and forced me to enter my number just to humiliate me and prove she was "right." The white lady in front of me was treated politely. I, however, was treated like this. I strongly suspect racism, or at least classism – looking down on me for buying only 30 cents worth of onions, even though I had just spent nearly $100 minutes earlier. But even if I hadn't, even if I only came to buy a single onion, no customer deserves to be yelled at and publicly humiliated like this. Emma Luna's behavior was completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and discriminatory. I hope management will address this. No one should be treated this way at 99 Ranch Market.

A good place where you can find to authentic ingredients and a good variety and selection of vegetarian dishes, seafood, meats, and bakery. Is a good shop for anyone looking to explore Asian cuisine. The layout is spacious, making it easy to navigate through the aisles. The staff is helpful, always ready to assist with any questions. Recommended for anyone in the area!
