A&G Auto Tech

A&G Auto Tech is an auto repair shop at 240 Quincy St in Boston, Massachusetts, serving drivers who need help with their vehicles. Customer feedback highlights reasonable pricing, clear quotes, and personal attention as reasons some people return or recommend the shop. Reviews also describe repairs to vehicle parts and brake work, giving prospective customers a grounded picture of the kinds of visits mentioned by past customers. If you are comparing mechanics in Boston, A&G Auto Tech is one local option to consider and contact about your specific repair needs.

Several reviewers say the shop gave them a price and kept to it, including one customer who reported a same-day repair without an added charge. Others describe staff as honest, fair, and willing to help with an older or “beater” car. These accounts suggest that the shop may suit drivers looking for practical repair help and a straightforward conversation about cost. One longtime customer says they have recommended the business to others, while another praises the customer service and reasonable prices. Individual experiences can differ, so it is sensible to explain the issue, ask what the quoted work includes, and confirm the expected price and timing before authorizing a repair.

Feedback is not uniformly positive. Some reviewers report disappointment with repair quality, follow-up service, or the way a job was handled, including concerns about a part that allegedly needed attention again and a disagreement after brake work. Those comments are important context alongside the favorable reviews. A&G Auto Tech has a 4.6-star rating based on 52 reviews, but a rating cannot predict how any individual repair will go. Customers can use an estimate and a clear discussion of the requested work to decide whether the shop is the right fit. When arranging service, describe the symptoms and ask any questions you have about parts, labor, and what is included.

The shop is located at 240 Quincy St, Boston, MA 02121, United States. Its posted hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; it is closed Sunday.
