A&R Mobile Tires & Mechanic

A&R Mobile Tires & Mechanic is a tire service business at 18 Hartwell St, Boston, MA 02121, serving drivers in Boston, Massachusetts. Its name and customer feedback point to a mobile mechanic service as well as tire-related help: one customer says Alex came to their address within about 30 minutes and completed the work quickly. If you need help with a car and would prefer to ask about service at your location, contacting the business directly is a practical first step. The available information does not specify every service offered or the areas covered, so confirm the details, availability, and any travel fees when you call.

Customers describe the mechanic as knowledgeable, professional, and straightforward. One reviewer appreciated having the work explained clearly, while others highlighted quick service, good workmanship, and prices they considered fair. That feedback may be especially useful if you value a mechanic who takes time to explain what is being done instead of leaving you guessing. Reviews also mention tire puncture work, including nail removal, but the right repair depends on the tire’s condition. Ask what inspection or repair is included, what the quoted price covers, and whether replacement is recommended before authorizing the work.

The business has a 4.7-star rating from 13 reviews, though customer experiences and opinions about pricing are not all the same. One reviewer specifically considered a $125 quote for nail removal expensive. That makes it sensible to request a clear estimate before service and, if the job is not urgent, compare it with another local option. A good estimate should make clear what work is planned and whether there may be additional costs. The positive reviews report honest communication and efficient work; the critical comment is a reminder to confirm the price for your particular tire and situation rather than assuming every job will cost the same.

Listed hours show A&R Mobile Tires & Mechanic open every day of the week, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. If you are dealing with a flat, a tire puncture, or another vehicle problem in Boston, call ahead to confirm that someone is available, explain where the car is, and describe what has happened. The listing gives the Hartwell Street address, while a reviewer describes receiving help at their own address; confirm whether mobile service is available for your location. With its tire-service focus, reported mobile response, and customer comments about clear explanations, A&R Mobile Tires & Mechanic is an option for Boston drivers who want to discuss a repair directly and understand the estimate before work begins.
