AAA - Ballantyne is an insurance agency in Charlotte, NC, located at 11338 N Community House Rd, Charlotte, NC 28277. The location is also described by customers as a place to get help with vehicle service, including tire-related needs. That combination makes it relevant to people looking for an AAA location in Ballantyne for insurance-related assistance as well as practical support for their cars. The available information does not specify particular insurance products, coverage options, or service hours, so customers should contact the location directly to confirm what they need and when it is available.

Customer feedback highlights a service desk that people have found friendly, welcoming, and efficient. One reviewer praised Mike, Lynette, and Justin for keeping the desk running smoothly, and specifically complimented auto technician Mark’s work. Another customer said Steve was helpful and polite, with the process completed in about five minutes. These accounts suggest that some visits can be straightforward and personal, particularly when customers arrive with a clear request. If you are visiting for a vehicle concern, explaining the issue at check-in may help the team understand what assistance you are seeking.

Reviews also mention hands-on tire service. Customers describe coming in with a nail in a tire and being glad to receive help focused on getting safely back on the road. Tire rotations are mentioned as well, although one reviewer reported that a rotation was performed incorrectly and that a tire continued to wear faster than expected. This contrast is useful context: experiences vary, and it can be sensible to confirm the requested work before service and check the result afterward. The reviews do not establish what repairs are offered or whether every vehicle issue can be handled at this location.

With a 4.2-star rating from 462 reviews, AAA - Ballantyne has a substantial body of local feedback, including both positive experiences and concerns about service. The comments point to staff who have been appreciated for being helpful, and also show why clear communication matters when a visit involves technical work or a wait. Customers may find the location useful when seeking an insurance agency in Charlotte or asking about vehicle-related assistance at the Ballantyne site. Because hours and specific offerings are not listed here, call ahead to confirm availability, expected wait time, and whether the location can address your particular need.

Overall, service at this location is not bad but they incorrectly rotated tires on my FWD Camry and so one of the front tires that was supposed to go to the rear, stayed in the front and started wearing out faster. Next year, I asked them to rotate tires again hoping that this tire will finally go to the back and will last me a little more. But they didn't rotate the tires at all this time and didn't even call me to let me know. They only told me about that when I was picking up my car. They stated that since one of my tires wore out more than others (which is their fault), they decided not to rotate because they think I need to but brand new tires. So now my front tire will wear out even faster and because of these unprofessional individuals, I will have to buy a new set of tires. Pathetic...

Andrea was repeatedly unprofessional, on my first encounter with her I was sent from another AAA across town to the location in Ballantyne when I arrived I was informed I would need to wait on her to get back from lunch, she left 30 min ago and should be back soon, an hour and twenty min later she finally walked in. I informed her about the state’s request for proof of insurance and asked why they did not provide it when the dmv asked. she stated that was because AAA needed my proof of residency first. I provided that and she assured me she would handle it. Two weeks later I get another request from the state in the mail. When I called AAA to yet again request they send the fs1 she answered the phone and I explained she had helped me last time and it still wasn’t right. She immediately got an attitude with me, started childishly defending herself instead of apologizing for the inconvenience. I tried again to explain to her that I needed her to submit the form when she started raising her voice and talking over me. I asked her to please not interrupt me and to let me finish speaking, she got loud and hung up on me. I then spent almost an hour on the phone trying to reach an agent that could assist me, being transferred 5 or 6 times to different stores and departments when finally they transferred me back to her. I asked her if she was calm now and ready to submit the form and work this out, she said she wasn’t going to help me and hung up on me again. I don’t know if she’s incompetent and incapable or just poorly trained in customer service but all I asked her to do was her job and I had to ask three times and three times she refused.

Eagerness to help is pretty rare in this world these days but that is exactly what I experienced last night when I showed up with a nail in my tire. It was all “we got you!” and it was refreshing. If you’re looking for a service center that cares about getting you back on the road, safely, this is the place. Thanks!
