About

Adaptive Home Health is listed on FindALoco in Austin, TX with address, phone, website, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Home Health Care Service.

Adaptive Home Health is a home health care service located in Austin, TX, serving patients from its office at 4201 W Parmer Ln, Austin, TX 78727. For people seeking care coordinated around recovery or ongoing medical needs at home, the agency is a local option to consider during the planning process. Its weekday business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the office closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Home health needs can be especially important after a hospital stay, surgery, or when a patient has complex care requirements. Customer feedback references arranging physical therapy after a knee replacement, as well as nursing support for a PICC line, including dressing changes during a serious infection treatment. These examples suggest the types of care situations people may discuss with Adaptive Home Health when determining whether its services and care plan are appropriate for their physician's orders and individual needs.

Experiences shared in public reviews are mixed. One reviewer describes a home health nurse as pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable while receiving frequent antibiotic-related care, and another expresses appreciation for a case manager and staff who helped coordinate complicated medical needs and communicate with a doctor. Other reviewers raise serious concerns about missed appointments, follow-up, continuity of care, and discharges. Because dependable scheduling and communication matter greatly in home-based care, prospective patients and family caregivers may wish to ask clear questions about visit timing, after-hours processes, care coordination, and discharge planning before beginning services.

For Austin families comparing home health providers, an informed conversation is essential. Adaptive Home Health may be relevant for patients and caregivers exploring in-home support tied to post-operative recovery, nursing needs, or medically directed therapy. Contact the office during regular weekday hours to confirm current availability, accepted referrals or insurance arrangements, the specific services offered, and how the team will communicate with patients, families, and prescribing providers. With a 3.7 rating from 9 reviews at the time of listing, the available feedback offers both positive examples of individual care and important questions to address when choosing a home health care service in Austin, Texas.

I am beyond disappointed with Adaptive Home Health and the complete lack of compassion, continuity of care, and professionalism shown toward my mother. Instead of helping her improve, they continue discharging her despite her very obvious physical decline. Watching a loved one struggle while the very people entrusted with her care dismiss concerns and push her out the door has been heartbreaking. I have called the office numerous times asking to speak with a supervisor, yet my concerns continue to go ignored. I specifically begged them not to send one particular therapist due to repeated negative experiences, lack of empathy, and the distress it caused my mother. Despite this, they continue disregarding both her wishes and mine as her advocate and caregiver. Home health should be centered around patient dignity, safety, communication, and compassionate care. Unfortunately, our experience has been the complete opposite. My mother deserves to feel heard, respected, and cared for — not treated like an inconvenience or a number on a schedule. Families already carrying the emotional burden of caring for a declining loved one should not also have to fight to be listened to by the very agency meant to help them.

I spoke with a representative several times to arrange PT post-op a knee replacement. Surgery was on a Friday so I was to start on Saturday. No one showed. No messages left. I called first thing Monday morning and was told I didn’t answer my calls. Not true. She said she would reschedule me and call back. I followed up after lunch and spoke to a new person. He said I had been unadmitted. Never heard of such a thing. Told him not to worry about but I called the doctor and changed companies.

The nurses were all negligent from day one of being admitted to their "home health" services and missed multiple appointments which resulted in the blatant neglect of my health and then they abruptly discharged me without providing the care I was promised through the contract which was breached by Adaptive Home Health. They never supplied any medical supplies other than a can of saline which they order from Amazon.

Had to have a PICC line installed in my arm because of a serious staph infection that required antibiotics 3X a day. We were blessed to have Bethany as our home health nurse as she was incredibly pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. Having the dressing replaced can sometimes be uncomfortable but she made it so quick and easy that we were done in no time. She was always cheerful, friendly and promptly on time. I can’t thank her enough for the care and respect she has for her job and her patients! Couldn’t have asked for a better representative of Connective Home Health! Thank you again, Ms. Townsend. Highest possible recommendation…

I want to sincerely thank my case manager Chad and the staff at Connective Home Health for making sure that my complicated medical needs were met. From calling my doctor and being on hold for half an hour, to hand carrying orders to them, they have made sure that my care is a priority. I cannot say enough about how they have been so caring to me. I highly recommend this Home Health Care Company.
