Adelante Boutique

Yesterday evening, I took my daughter and her friends to the boutiques at The Pearl. It was 5:55pm and I knew the store would close at 6 but I saw a purse in the window and wanted to quickly take a look at it. A group exited as I was about to enter so I reached for the door just as a male worker pulled the door out of my hand and locked it without making eye contact or saying a word. I understand they were about to close but we had 5 minutes. Had he wanted to close early and just said that, it would have been perfectly fine. But to act in that manner with that hostility seemed uncalled for.

I had to come online to share the amazing experience I had here this morning! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the staff. While browsing, I was personally assisted by Marla—who I later learned is the owner of Adelante! She was absolutely hilarious, friendly, and gave me a fun tour of the store, even recommending some of her favorite pieces. The boutique is full of unique items and adorable dresses. I’ll definitely be coming back soon with some of my girlfriends—11/10 experience! (honorable mention: I absolutely adored the pink walls hah!)

This vibrant chic and eclectic boutique has so many treasures rotating through every season. I absolutely adore this store.

My wife and I are always delighted by the energy at Adelante. We visited today and got such a kick out of the funny quotes on the magnets, coasters and dish towels they were selling. The staff are truly kind and genuine to those who come in and one of the employees even helped my wife find a dress that she loved, as well as a perfect gift for our son who lives out of state. The care these people show for their customers is very rare these days–and much appreciated. We will be back soon! :-)
