Food here was amazing, very authentic. I had a hard time choosing a dish. Also home made tortillas :) a place I definitely recommend and would go back anytime. The place does need an update look.

I’m a Guatemalan living in Texas. I miss my mom’s meals, and searching through the internet, I was able to find this Guatemalan bakery and restaurant. I took my wife and daughter for breakfast, and it was a great visit. The service was excellent, our waiter was very friendly, and it was fun talking to her about where she was from in Guatemala. We took some pan dulce ”sweet bread” home to have with our afternoon coffee. We are definitely coming back for lunch next time.

Being born to a mother of Guatemalan background, my family and I were excited to visit Agua Blanca, however this changed once we finally decided to make the visit. The food experience at this establishment felt short to meet even modest expectations. Despite the promising menu descriptions, the execution fell flat from what I was anticipating. I ordered the Churrasco. The saltiness of the meat was extremely overwhelming, easily powering over the other sides. The flavors from the other sides were entirely absent. Their menu was outdated and claimed all their prices were now different and the updated price was to be taken when we received the check. The atmosphere of the establishment did little to compensate for the food and price. While the decor attempted to exude an air of culture and coziness, it ultimately felt uninspired. Overall, the food left my family and I feeling disappointed, mislead by the prices, and the atmosphere failed to create a memorable dining environment.
