About

Alameda County Bar Association is listed on FindALoco with phone, website, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Legal Services.

Alameda County Bar Association is a legal services organization serving people who are seeking information, resources, and connections within the Alameda County legal community. For individuals facing a legal question, the association may be a starting point when they are trying to understand what kind of legal help to pursue. Its weekday office hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, provide a defined time for people to reach out regarding available programs or referral-related needs.

A central reason people look for the Alameda County Bar Association is help locating an attorney or navigating the first steps of a legal matter. Customer feedback specifically mentions attorney referrals, including a search for counsel related to a personal injury accident. Legal needs can be time-sensitive and highly personal, so it is useful to approach any referral or information request with clear details about the issue, relevant deadlines, and the type of assistance needed. Because experiences in the reviews vary, callers may wish to confirm the current process, eligibility requirements, and next available steps directly with the organization.

The association is also noted in customer feedback for offering a free bankruptcy clinic. Reviews indicate that an appointment is needed in advance, making it important to plan ahead rather than arriving without confirmation. A clinic format can be particularly relevant for people who want initial information about bankruptcy-related concerns and need to understand whether a scheduled session is appropriate for their circumstances. Contacting the office before visiting can help clarify appointment availability, what documents or information to bring, and whether the clinic addresses the particular question at hand.

With a 3.9 rating from 38 reviews, Alameda County Bar Association reflects a range of customer experiences. Some reviewers describe helpful staff and value the bankruptcy clinic, while others report difficulty receiving callbacks or obtaining the attorney information they were seeking. This makes the organization best suited for people who are prepared to follow up, ask focused questions, and verify details for their individual situation. As a legal services resource in Alameda County, it can be considered by residents, workers, and families who are beginning the process of finding legal guidance or learning about available community-facing legal programs.
