What a special place! I came from out of town before attending a wedding and had planned to cut and tone my hair. Aldo advised against toning my hair because the highlights that were coming through (I'm a former Barbie blonde) were giving my hair great dimension. He could've upsold me on the toner, but I really appreciated the great advice. My haircut came out amazing and the style was beautiful. The best part of Aldo's salon is the great vibe. All the staff work together to create an environment that feels very welcoming and cozy. I truly cannot wait to come back to Irvine so I can get my hair done here. Thank you to Aldo and his team!

Best hair I've had in so long! I asked for a cut & balayage at Aldo Alán & Co. and they took incredible care of my hair. They were experts at giving me recommendations to add back dimension & movement to my hair. They were also so kind and considerate. Highly recommend!!

Since I started going to AKA to have my hair bleached by Aldo, it's been one of the best experiences I have ever had in a hair salon. I was sad and devastated because a local salon had ruined my hair. My hair was damaged and in a very bad condition. Aldo is amazing! He is professional, amazing and very confident in what he does. He sat me down and explained treatment process before even bleaching my hair to prevent damaging even more. He even estimated time and cost, and went over the entire process for me to get my healthy hair back. He was born to bleach hair and can do it with his eyes closed. AKA Salon treats you like a family and the atmosphere is always fun, happy and clean. AKA salon treats customers with love, care and respect because for them it's a long lasting friendship and not a business transaction. Can’t rave about Aldo at AKA Salon enough!! I went to him with damaged lifeless dull hair and he worked his magic and was able to bring it back to life! First time I went in, he beautifully balayaged my brittle hair and restored it’s luster with a Brazilian blowout. My hair then took 1/4 of the time to dry and looked amazing out of the shower. The second time, I decided to go darker for the fall and he seamlessly matched the previous blonde to my roots. He also gave me a trendy lob to get rid of all the previous damage. My hair has never grown faster or looked healthier!!! I will be going to him again to go blonde, likely next summer! He is a balayage- blonde - color PERFECTIONIST and I will not be letting anyone else touch my hair! Do yourself a favor and book an appt!!! BEST OC HAIRSTYLIST HANDS DOWN
