Overall, good food and atmosphere. My hash browns were a little burnt so I'm deducting one star. It's a smaller venue so there was quite a long wait when we went.

I’m pretty late to Alfred’s Cafe but better late than never, I always knew of this place, drove by it most of my life but never actually started going there until recently. This has to be one of the best places for a good breakfast, the serving size and food quality is fantastic and I believe it’s on par with their prices, we received our meals fast even on a busy day. There isn’t a lot of good places to get breakfast around Tacoma anymore but this place is great. Servers and staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is super cool lots of historic pictures and items from Tacoma, the building itself has a cool history as well, I’m a huge fan of their music choices with a good mix of classic and alternative music that fits the atmosphere. I’ll continue to go there and try more things, but this is definitely one of my new favorite places. Highly recommended.

Small little restaurant and bar. Has a very old, "been here a long time" vibe. Food is ok. Had a salad, would not recommend it. My husband had a sandwich that looked great! Good beer and liquor selection. For downtown Tacoma this was not bad for a quick stop.
