Sign in to reviewI’ve been here before and the food is always amazing. They have a great selection, the environment is wonderful, and the cleanliness is top-notch. However, my recent visit with a party of five was frustrating for two main reasons. 1. Misleading Pricing: Online it says dinner is $34.99, but once we got there, we were charged $38.99. That is a $4 difference per person. For a group of five, that’s an extra $20 we weren’t expecting. The restaurant needs to update their website immediately to reflect the actual cost. 2. Slow Service: Normally the service is great, but this time it took the waiter a long time to check on us for meat or broth refills. When you’re paying more, you expect the service to at least stay the same, but we spent a lot of time waiting around for our next round of food. I still love the quality of the food here, but the lack of transparency on the price and the slow service this time around were disappointing. I hope they fix these issues soon!"
First time eating Shabu. The had a wide selection of food, and everything was delicious. We were a big group and were seated fairly quickly for a Friday. Will be coming back!
I think our server was great, but I was underwhelmed by this spot. I'm a little confused by the great reviews to be honest, maybe this place changed recently? The meat is very thinly sliced. While our servers were quick to bring more and there was a decent variety in beef (and lamb!) options, it was difficult to discern the difference in each offering. With these thin cuts, expect the meat to fall apart fairly quickly while you're cooking. The popular broth options we chose were both pretty mid. The sukiyaki broth was decent, but the spicy beef broth was a letdown. Maybe we were just unlucky with our choices? The seafood was also fairly mid in quality as well, but to be honest I did not eat much seafood this visit. However, I will say they offered a decent variety to chose from. If the price was closer to 25 dollars a person, I would understand and appreciate the lower quality but more affordable option. The atmosphere inside definitely aligns more with what should be a budget friendly experience. All this being said, if you're looking to pay 39+ dollars per person for a great hot-pot dining experience, I would personally go elsewhere.
Absolutely loved it! Will definitely be going back again. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. This place gave my favorite shabu spot in Vegas a run for it's money. Definitely might be my new favorite spot. Spicy beef broth was absolutely delicious! A huge selection of meats, veggies, noodles and other ingredients as well as some other foods. It is all you can eat. We had dinner for about $40 a person but definitely worth it. A must try if you're in the area!
I have to give this place an absolute 5 stars 🌟. They are sensational. If you are a Ramen or soup 🍲 type of person this is a must be on my bucket list. When I got there I had no clue what kind of place it was but once I got the run down that its a all you can eat meat , unlimited toppings bottomless broth it feel in love ❤️. Come check them out environment is family friendly and near by irvine spectrum.
