The value for the money you get at Alora is top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes we tried and wished we had room to try a few more. I also really enjoyed my cocktail. We brought our 6 month old and it looked like there were several other families with kids about the same age. The wait staff was really nice. Overall, can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our first experience here. The lomo saltado was excellent, and we asked for the pasta a la Huancaína with lomo instead of chicken—it turned out great as well. The ceviche had a delicious leche de tigre, though we felt the fish itself could have had more flavor. Other than that, everything was wonderful—the service was very attentive, the atmosphere was pleasant, and we loved the desserts and the Vietnamese coffee. While there’s no valet, the small parking lot next to the restaurant made it easy to find a space. We’re looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes in the future!

We celebrated my birthday at Alora, and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. My husband worked with Ngoc and Diego, who went out of their way to make everything feel personal and effortless. They helped us plan a beautiful setup on the patio — the perfect space for everyone to mingle with wine before brunch. The food was fantastic — every appetizer was a hit, and brunch was delicious and beautifully prepared. Chef Mykala truly outdid herself! You could taste the care and creativity in every dish. It felt like celebrating with friends who genuinely wanted the day to be special. I can’t thank the Alora team enough for helping make my birthday so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a pleasant, light dinner here. We shared some apps and each had a drink. I’d highly recommend the banh mi and duck spring rolls! We’re definitely going back for a full dinner soon!

The spicy seafood ceviche is the star here! I can still taste the delicacy. 5 stars for the ceviche. The misses for me were two main things. One the owner asked me if I had reservations- it was how the question was asked. The restaurant was super empty. Only 3 people at the bar and one couple at a table and as a person who dines out at restaurants frequently. This was asked right before I sat down at my table. A paying customer will state that at the beginning or it will be asked up front from the hostess. It came across as unprofessional, dry and unfriendly. Secondly, the drinks are okay. The first drink which is a take on a Pisco Sour did not do it justice. For someone who has been to Lima and to many countries in Latin America, I would not order it again. If you’ve never had a Pisco Sour before, you would probably think it’s good. My server was nice and the 2nd drink with grapefruit was so much better.
