Amazing Basil & A Cup Of (Fremont) is an inviting Asian restaurant in Fremont, CA, located at 46831 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539. With a 4.1-star rating from 253 reviews, it has become a familiar Warm Springs stop for diners looking for a broad Asian fusion menu rather than a single-cuisine experience. Guests often describe the food as a mix of Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese influences, making it a practical choice when everyone at the table wants something a little different.

The menu is especially appealing for people who like variety. Reviewers call out the Salted Egg Yolk Fried Rice, including shrimp versions, as a standout, along with crispy eggplant strips, vegan basil beef rice, vegan chili shrimp salad, grilled fatty pork shoulder, and whole beef bone marrow with toast. Drinks are also part of the visit, with boba, vegan Thai tea, and mango mojitos mentioned by customers. The restaurant also offers a separate vegan menu, which helps mixed groups plan an easier meal. This range makes it easier for adventurous eaters, plant-based guests, and people who prefer familiar comfort dishes to share one table without narrowing the experience.

The atmosphere is a strong part of the appeal. Guests mention creative, aesthetic interior decor and a floral wall that works well for casual photos, while others describe the dining room as cozy and welcoming. It can feel lively during popular lunch windows, especially on Saturdays, but the setting still works for family meals, casual meetups, and anyone who wants a sit-down restaurant with playful presentation and a broad set of flavors. For local searchers, the clearest takeaway is variety: rice dishes, salads, shareable appetizers, richer grilled items, and drinks that can turn a quick lunch into a more relaxed visit.

Ordering is commonly handled through a QR code, which many visitors find simple, especially when browsing a larger menu. Some reviews also note that service can be hands-off or that certain items may take extra follow-up, so it is a good place to visit with a little patience during busy periods. The upside is that dishes are often described as arriving hot, thoughtfully presented, and fairly priced for the range of choices available.

For local diners searching for an Asian restaurant in Fremont, CA, Amazing Basil & A Cup Of (Fremont) stands out for its cross-cultural menu, vegan-friendly options, boba and specialty drinks, and warm visual style. Current listed hours are 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with Tuesday closed. Whether you are planning a family lunch, a vegan-friendly outing, or a casual meal near Warm Springs Boulevard, this Fremont restaurant offers a flexible, flavorful option.

We went for a big family dinner where people had various diet needs. This place offers a separate vegan menu. As mentioned in other reviews, the QR code and online ordering did cause some confusion. The food came hot to the table, but they didn’t bring the pineapple rice we ordered and the vegetable pad Thai had eggs and fish sauce. The children didn’t like the smell. The lemongrass tofu was on the sweeter side. The papaya salad was spicy and well made. The roti curry was mild enough for the children as well and they liked the garlic bread. We arrived right before last call was taken, so it may be better for larger groups to arrive before 7:45 pm so the kitchen doesn’t close.

Absolutely amazing place. Diverse selection of cuisines (from Thai to Viet to Chinese) with dishes that are unique and delicious at a fair price. Internal decor is creative and aesthetic. Always blown away by the shrimp and salty egg yolk fried rice, but it's hard to find a bad dish.

Food, drinks & boba were great, and the ambience was super cozy and welcoming. Customer service though was pretty much nonexistent. Ordering through the QR code was fine, but several items took a long time and needed multiple follow-ups. It was also really hard to get anyone’s attention and we had to literally get up and go to the counter to get help. Enjoyed the food and vibe, but the experience would’ve been much better with more attentive service.

This restaurant is described as a fusion of Vietnamese and Thai cuisines. It has a pleasant ambiance, highlighted by a floral wall that’s popular for photo ops. We ordered the Salted Egg Yolk Fried Rice, Mango Mojito, Whole Beef Bone Marrow with Toast, and Grilled Fatty Pork Shoulder. The presentation was impressive, and everything tasted delicious. Overall, it was a nice experience — we’d consider coming back to try more dishes from the menu.

Came for Saturday lunch and it was very crowded but we got seated right away. Ordering is all done through a QR code, which made ordering easy. We tried the vegan Thai tea, crispy eggplant strips, vegan basil beef rice, and vegan chili shrimp salad. The eggplant was the best dish we had! The basil beef was flavorful but a bit pricey, and the shrimp salad had good spice but the shrimp itself was bland. The Thai tea was sweet and refreshing, and was an amazing value. The vibe is cozy and tropical with lots of greenery, energetic but not overwhelming. Parking is a bit of a headache since the lot fills up fast. Overall, I’d definitely come back and try more dishes!
