One first-time guest came to Anna's Elegance for braids before Burning Man and described being pleased with the service from Marie, whom the review identifies as the shop owner. Another review discusses a daughter's double-twist hairstyle made with purchased ombre braiding hair, with a requested medium length and straight finish. Reviews also portray the atmosphere as personal and considerate. Multiple clients call Marie friendly, nice, polite, or gentle, and one recalls a warm, smiling greeting at the start of a first visit. A customer says the salon welcomes coily, straight, and curly hair, an especially useful detail for people who want a stylist to listen to their hair needs. The family-oriented comments, including a client who brought her girls for appointments, suggest Anna's Elegance may suit parents arranging hair services for children as well as adults seeking attentive salon time. It also makes the salon relevant to people looking for a more relaxed, one-on-one feeling rather than an impersonal visit.

I came to Ana’s Elegance for the first time to get my hair braided for Burning Man. I was graced with the service and experience from Marie, the owner of the shop. To say I was pleased would be a huge understatement. Marie was so sweet from start to finish. She greeted me with a warm smiling welcome and executed my braids so well it by FAR exceeded my expectations. She was pleasant to chat with, her prices were right and her touch was gentle. My hair looks so beautiful and she did such a good job. I will 100% be coming back here again for future braids and I am recommending Marie at Ana’s Elegance to everyone I know in search of a good braiding tech! Thank you for the wonderful experience and I’m looking forward to it again in the future!

I purchased ombre hair for my daughter's double twist hairstyle. Once dropping my daughter off I gave the braider some instruction on the style we wanted, which was just medium length and straight. The hair is ombre so each braid should go from dark roots to light ends as the braiding hair is are already dyed in this coloration. I even show her a picture of the ombre style on google. She acts as though she understands ever word I am saying. Boi, did she not. I come back after an hour an half dentist appointment. She had braided a quarter of her hair by this time. The twist were not ombre at all. The braider cut the bundles of hair in half and was mixing the color variance of black to purple hair all together. I was furious. I immediately told her this is not what I asked for. She argued the hair was too long and this is why she was cutting the bundles in half. Cutting the hair is one thing, but that didn't have anything to do with mixing the colors into each other. Another braider came over to explain to her in their language what I was trying to get her understand in English. She did not speak English well, and did not understand me at all. This why she was not braiding the hair as I instructed. She also tried to lie to the other braider and say, I hadn't explained this to her. She said I dropped my daughter off and just left to save face. Once the other braider explained to hair what I was asking she began braiding the hair in the ombre pattern correctly, but she had already messed about half of my daughter's hair and not only was it not ombre it was also shorter because she had been cutting the bundles in half. What put the icing on the cake was she had nerve to over charge me $225 dollars for a 10yr old. Not to mention, almost half wasn't even ombre and was uneven length. I heard the other braider contest the price, but the braider had nerve to be upset at me for her mistake. Never going back. If the other braiders are aware of one not speaking or understanding English very well then they should be there to aid in translation because this will continue to happen.
