The caretakers at Kindred have provided excellent care to both of my grandparents over the years. My grandfather’s caretaker, Noel, became like a member of our family and we could not ask for a more attentive helper who genuinely cared about my grandparents’ well-being. Noel truly went above and beyond to make them happy and meet all of their physical and emotional needs. Since then we have had other wonderful caretakers from Kindred, especially Bernadette who has provided patient and devoted care to my grandmother as she faces dementia. The Kindred staff communicates appropriately with my family when needed and they have helped us through some challenging moments. I can count on the staff to always make sure my grandma gets the care she needs. Definitely recommend Kindred to others.

Excellent homecare was provided to me by Gentiva for nine months. An excellent caregiver helped me immensely with chores like cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping which were very difficult for me to do alone due to a broken shoulder. My caregiver was reliable, always cheerful, responsive to all my needs and an expert at all chores. I can't imagine a better caregiver.

I used Kindred-Gentiva for the past two years for my now 100-year old mother for 4 hours 7 days a week. I cannot speak highly enough of the caregivers who watched over her: Amelia "Amy", Luisa, Brenda, Nelly. I offer a big shout out to Amy who was the main caregiver; she kept me abreast of anything unusual with mom's health or that needed immediate attention. She gave me a weekly shopping list that became so helpful. All the caregivers kept her living areas very clean. The office staff was always friendly and did their very best to find replacement caregivers when Amy, Luisa or Brenda were sick. Each of these ladies showed ongoing compassion and understanding of my mom's declining mental and physical health and I will be indebted to them forever. Mom is now moving to a larger facility and I pray she gets the same care that the Gentiva employees gave her.
