Asako was incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and clearly very experienced with different hair textures and treatments. Since I had a previous perm, she took the time to carefully assess my hair and customize the process to make sure it would work well for me while minimizing damage. She was also so kind, personable, and patient throughout the appointment. She answered all of my questions and even recommended hair products and maintenance tips afterward, which I really appreciated. The pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of service and attention to detail I received. I’m really happy with how my hair turned out and would definitely recommend her to anyone!
Best Japanese hair salon in the area! I have been going to ARUKAS for 10 years. Very satisfied every single time when I go. Asako is truly the best hairstylist. She is very skilled with great taste. Just a few words of what you are looking for, your hair will come out amazing. On top of getting cute hair every single time, their customer service is above and beyond. Very nice head massage while hair wash, different options of drinks and even phone chargers available without asking. Everything is just top tier experience. I enjoy going to ARUKAS every time when getting hair done. Would recommend it to everyone.
I’ve been going to Asako for years because she consistently understands exactly how to work with Asian hair. She knows how to create shape and dimensions without making it difficult to style at home. The cuts grow out naturally and always feel soft and polished. The whole appointment is always relaxing and thoughtful. You feel pampered the entire time and never feel rushed. I always leave happy with my hair and get compliments afterward. Highly recommend seeing her at Mesa Salon which will be renamed to Arukas Hair Resort soon.
Arukas Hair Resort is back! I was so happy to hear that Asako and her team are booking clients again. They just moved to a new place and still getting everything setup, but the 5-star hair service is still there. I just love this place and there's just no comparison.
