Eric the manager from the shop is such a lovely person, he helped me fit the right shoes with taking extra efforts to help stretch the leather. He made sure my feet were comfortable when others had discouraged me to not try mountaineering ever. Superb place to get mountaineering gear. The staff is extremely helpful. I recently went to get a budget for my Rainier summit this summer and they took TWO HOURS of their time to go over my gear checklist. They made all sort of recommendations. They gave me the pros and cons of buying cheaper stuff and higher quality. In some cases they even referred me to other sites to get top notch midweight insulation that they did not sell or stuff that was out of stock. They gave me some hacks to get over expensive crampon pouches. They literally went through every item in my checklist and told me which items were worth spending the money and which ones I shouldn't spend too much on. Extremely helpful staff given the fact that I only purchased crampons and glacier glasses. Oh, and they gifted me 30+ SPF lip balm for purchasing over $400. Definitively coming back to complete my checklist.
Very satisfied with my first order. Unlike another outdoors shop that gave me issues with my card. I saw they had a similar sale for the rain jacket I wanted and was super excited for as fast as it arrived.
