I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. My first appointment was for an afro kinky curly sew-in using hair I purchased directly through the stylist for over $335 + ($200 for install). From the beginning, I had concerns about the quality of the hair. It was extremely dry, lacked the defined curl pattern I expected, unmanageable and would shrink back into a tight, unmanageable texture within minutes of being thoroughly soaked with water. I documented the issue with photos and videos and gave the stylist the opportunity to inspect the hair. Despite my concerns, I was told the hair was functioning as intended and that no replacement or refund would be offered. Despite pictures of a afro, nappy textured, dry hair upon driving 30 mins home after appointment and pics the next morning, this stylist attributed the dissatisfaction with hair and style to my inability to style my hair properly. I returned for styling - same results. I asked if she could do another install with just regular bundles. She said she didn't have any other bundles so I basically had to provide the hair, which I just spent $335 on hair. Wanting to give the business another chance, I returned for a third time. I requested install using a different style. Unfortunately, I was disappointed again. She refused to take down and redo the bulky braid down used for the afro kinky hairstyle. This resulted in a bulky sew in, and I could see the imprint of several tracks through the hair at the crown and back, making the install look uneven instead of smooth and seamless. This install should have been a flat, seamless look. This is the 3rd time I gave her to make things right and corners were cut each time! What disappointed me most is that I didn't immediately leave a negative review. I gave the stylist three separate opportunities to address my concerns and make things right. Each time, I tried to resolve the issues privately before sharing my experience publicly. Instead of feeling heard, my concerns were repeatedly dismissed and no solution was offered. I had to suggest them and a refund of the bad hair @ $335+ was rejected. When you invest hundreds of dollars in both hair and installation, you expect quality workmanship, quality products, and customer service that stands behind the work. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I understand that every client has different expectations, but I believe professionalism also includes listening to customers, taking concerns seriously, and making a genuine effort to resolve issues when they arise. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in both product quality, installation techniques, and customer service.

Asia is a gem! Her professionalism, skill, and compassionate nature all made for a relaxing and refreshing experience. I emailed a question before booking and she was courteous and prompt with her response-definitely didn’t make me feel like a bother. Booking with her is simple and she even offers photos to help you navigate the otherwise confusing building setup to find her. I didn’t ask her age, but she seems too young to remember when stylists were stylists and the salon was a relaxing atmosphere, but she clearly has had some experience and gives you just what you need! I booked a versatile sew-in and purchased my hair from her website. Everything was set up and ready to go when I arrived for my appointment and she even started 5 minutes early-as soon as I walked in. I could go on about how excellent the service was, and the fact that I loved my hair (I’m natural and not typically and extension-wearer) is like the cherry on top. I can’t even remember the last time I got what I wanted at a salon, so to have it turn out so good with everything else being such a pleasant experience?! Really couldn’t recommend this stylist enough!

There are stylist who do hair because they now how to and then their are stylist who do hair…because they know how to and because they love what they do! Asia loves what she does and you can tell through her services. I have never felt more …

I’ve been going Ms. Asia for a while now and I’ve loved her since my first appointment. She’s very kind and a great communicator. Any questions I’ve ever had she’s never hesitate lo to answer. I love the way she washes and provides treatment for natural hair. She’s even adjusting her bookings to provide service for my needs. I love that she makes sure you’re satisfied before you leave her chair. Book with her all my natural haired girls!
