Hire Assisting Hands to help care for someone going through cancer treatments. I hired Assisting Hands to come 5 days a week for bathing supervision and general care. I also use their services for transportation to and from medical appointments. All the employees from scheduling to patient care were friendly and helpful. They were good about emailing, calling and updating notes in the patient portal. We are not needing their services full time at this time but would definitely use again if the need arises as very dependable and caring! Highly recommend!

Assisting Hands, Janel, and our in home care person Tiana, have been incredible. Their adaptability, real and genuine care for my mom, and clear competency have made some difficult transitions easier and supported. This time in life is hard and we all will go through it, but having help to really be helpful, is a rare gem.

Assisting Hands was excellent caring for my aging mother! She has Parkinson's and other debilitating conditions, which required someone to be with her every day, for 8 hours a day (until her children were able to be with her in the evenings). AH found excellent caregivers for mom for over 2 years; the caregivers were long-term, and always reliable and outstanding. In addition to the competence and caring of each individual caregiver, the office provided excellent oversight for medication management. Whenever we had any questions or feedback, they responded willingly and thoughtfully. They were flexible, and worked with the caregivers to find and adjust the optimal schedule for my mom. I would highly recommend them, and have already done so to other family members and close friends.

Assisting hands is an excellent agency! The owners and the complete staff truly care and will do all that they can to meet any and all of your needs. I have used this agency in the calm of my life and in crisis, have started and stopped the service and changed the service on a dime when my family needs changed. All of the caregivers we have had were professional, trained well and are very caring and loving. I have recommended this agency to many of my friends and will continue to do so. In the moment of crisis the caregiver was there to help and assist. No need was too big or too small. From companionship to changing briefs to laundry to cooking and even in the last moments of life this agency has the best caregivers and if there was ever any question the owner himself responded at all hours of the day and night. In these times you can’t be too careful when choosing a care team for you or your loved ones. Having the team from this agency around the clock in my dad’s last weeks enabled me to sleep in my own bed at night and function during the day. At the time of death all my instructions were followed and the compassion expressed to me and my mom was amazing. You don’t find this level of care and detail very often. You won’t be disappointed in choosing this agency for your care needs!
