They are not able to keep their staff; three nurses left the agency while they were caring for my family member. Some of the nurses were not respectful of my family member’s wishes, putting extra bandages on when she explicitly asked them not too, or ripping tape off of her skin causing it to bleed. One of the nurses was insistent that Medicare paid for assisted living, which is simply not true, and brought it up multiple times. Coordination with my family member’s doctor’s office was always difficult, although some of that may have been because of the doctor’s office, but not ALL of it. This led to her wounds never being cultured to rule out infection. Coordination with wound care took weeks. They were never able to order supplies in a timely manner or in the right quantity, ordering way too much of one thing and not enough of another. We never heard back from the social worker when we asked for a consult about additional care and placement options. They abruptly discharged my family member from their service without when she was hospitalized, leaving us without home health. The only reason I am not giving them just one star is because my family member liked the physical therapy team.
This company is less than professional. Nurses showed up without an appointment, communication almost non existant, rude, pushy and uninformed regarding the patient. I would never choose this agency or recommend.
