I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but after three visits in less than three weeks, I cannot recommend Atlanta Car Care. I brought my 2011 Subaru Outback in for one issue: overheating. During my first visit, they replaced the radiator cap. The vehicle continued overheating. During my second visit, they replaced the thermostat. Once again, the exact same problem returned. On my third visit, Patrick finally told me the engine was essentially done and there was nothing more they could do. My frustration isn’t that my vehicle ultimately needed an engine. Older vehicles sometimes have catastrophic failures. My frustration is that I paid for two separate repairs that never addressed the original problem before being told the engine was beyond repair. If that was the diagnosis all along, it should have been identified before recommending repairs that did not solve the issue. What made the experience worse was the communication. Patrick described allowing me to bring the vehicle back as a “goodwill” gesture. Respectfully, I wasn’t asking for goodwill—I was asking the shop to stand behind repairs that failed to resolve the complaint I originally paid them to fix. After reviewing my invoices, I noticed only one mentions that a block test was performed. None of the paperwork documents whether other diagnostic procedures, such as a cooling system pressure test or checks related to a possible head gasket failure, were performed. When I asked Patrick directly whether those tests had been completed, he repeatedly answered only that a block test had been performed instead of addressing my specific questions. As a customer, I wasn’t trying to debate automotive repair—I simply wanted a clear explanation of what had and had not been tested. During my third visit, I also witnessed another customer expressing concerns about his vehicle. From what I personally observed, he was told the issues could not be duplicated and that everything appeared fine. He left looking frustrated, and the interaction closely mirrored my own experience. D’Angelo at the front desk was always courteous and respectful, and I have no complaints about him personally. My issue is with how my repair was handled from start to finish. Atlanta Car Care advertises itself as a trusted neighborhood repair shop. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. Three visits, two unsuccessful repairs, the same unresolved problem, and no accountability. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering this shop to get a second opinion before authorizing repaiRs. OH and everyone is a new hire. They are hiring now if you need a job.

Patrick is excellent. He gave me an estimate. There were no surprises, well one pleasant surprise. The cost to replace the windshield and reattaching the rear view mirror was considerably less than I expected. He informed me when the materials would arrive at his shop. I recommend Atlanta Car Care very highly. Professional, courteous, and reasonable prices. Thank you Patrick for running a great shop.

Had a belt snap on my 1996 Miata and had it towed to ACC because my preferred shop had a 5 week lead time. They got me a quote the next day for my belt issue along with two other long term issues I had been ignoring. Some parts were hard to …

Very friendly and knowledgeable folks. Diagnosed the issue with my daughter’s vehicle. Repaired right the first time. I also liked the communication with us, a detailed explanation and estimate of the repairs was texted to us. We we able to chose from several different payment options, cash, card, affirm. We chose Klarna, got the approval and the payment was sent directly to the shop. Easy peasy. Thank you Patrick and the team at Atlanta Car Care.
