We knew right after interviewing Tiffany and Chelsea that they were the right doulas for us, but they still blew us out of the water with the care they provided during pregnancy and postpartum. They're highly knowledgeable, warm, generous with their time, non-judgmental, kind, holistically-minded, and overall wonderful humans. We felt so supported during this vulnerable and difficult transition into parenthood. Our daughter also ADORED them and we were incredibly grateful to have such trustworthy care, especially being so far from our family/support system. We ended up extending postpartum support with them until 3 months postpartum because they're that amazing. We wish we could have them over indefinitely! Also a shoutout of appreciation to Hayley who stepped in to help during my long labor – she's so caring, engaging, kind, supportive, and knowledgeable (especially being a midwifery student!).

My husband and I worked with Austin Doula Care and had the best experience. We felt so supported throughout my entire pregnancy and learned so much from our doulas. For example, they were able to help us find an OB that was the right fit for me after a negative experience, and helped us develop our birth preferences by educating us about different options we didn’t even know we had. When things deviated from my plans in the hospital, our doulas helped us understand our options and provided emotional support that was a huge comfort. We will also be utilizing postpartum doula services and we loved that ADC offered a gift card option so friends/family could gift us hours as a support during postpartum. Additionally, ADC offers a wide range of classes and groups that helped us feel prepared for pregnancy including a class on preparing for childbirth and a group where I was able to learn about baby wearing and could try on different carriers. I definitely plan to continue utilizing their services even in postpartum. Also highly important to me is ADC’s focus on values including social justice, diversity, and representation and I felt like these were well incorporated into their care and classes.

Working with Lauren Jackolyn as my doula was transformative during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life. From the start, she provided thoughtful insights and perspective on everything I was uncertain about - especially during labor. She didn't just walk me through each stage; she made me feel truly supported through it. What I loved most was Lauren's resourcefulness. She consistently reached out to her network to find answers to my questions, and that diligence meant everything. She created such a calm, grounding presence when I needed it most, and she went above and beyond caring for me in the hospital. Beyond that, she was equally caring and attentive to my husband, helping him show up for me in the ways that mattered. Through my extended induction, her patience never wavered. I'm deeply grateful for Lauren - she transformed what could have been a scary, isolating journey into something where I felt held, informed, and safe. If you're looking for a doula, I can't recommend her enough.

Kim is truly one of a kind! My partner and I took the weekend intensive course "Birthing from Within," and we feel so much more equipped and ready to go into the rest of pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum. We left the weekend course feeling so jazzed and mentally and spiritually ready for this transition into parenthood. She gave us so many amazing tools that we are practicing and talking about now, and knowledge is power. I highly recommend this course to any pregnant person and/or duo. We're really looking forward to getting more involved in ADC and meeting more of the community. We already made so many amazing, like-minded friends in the class who are going through similar things as we are. Thank you, thank you, Austin Doula Care and Kim!!

Austin Doula Care is truly exceptional. From the moment we began working with Chelsea, Kim, and Chrys at Austin Doula Care, I felt deeply supported, informed, and cared for. Chelsea was our primary doula during pregnancy and birth, and Chrys supported us postpartum. Together they embody everything that makes a great doula. Chelsea’s presence during pregnancy and birth was grounding, empowering, and steady. She listened without judgment, shared knowledge without pressure, and held space in a way that made me feel calm, capable, and strong. She helped me trust my body and myself. Chrys’s postpartum care was just as transformative. They cared not only for our baby, but for me: My healing, my emotions, my confidence as a new mother. They normalized the hard moments, celebrated the wins, and helped me feel healthy, supported, and seen during such an important time. If you are looking for doulas who are knowledgeable, compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and deeply respectful of your journey, I cannot recommend Austin Doula Care enough. I will forever be grateful for them!
