Great experience. I’ve never been there before so I didn’t know what to expect but I saw a lot of good reviews online. I was looking for a local shop that wasn’t one of the big chain places that I’ve had bad experiences with in the past. First off, this place isn’t fancy. Just a small office and a few repair bays that look like they’ve seen some stuff and a cat wandering around. If you want free coffee and wifi and nice place to wait for your car this probably isn’t it. Dropped my car off at 8:30am for A/C repair. They called a couple of hours later to tell me the problem and give me an estimate. The estimate seemed fair. They were done by 3pm the same day and my A/C is working great for an 11 year old car. They didn’t try to upsell me on stuff I didn’t come in for. Just good guys that appear to know what they are doing at a fair price. Will definitely go back.

Chad and the team at Authority Automotive in Frisco were fantastic! Even though they were short two technicians, Chad promptly addressed the issue and kept me updated throughout. My car was returned clean, the problem was completely fixed as described, and the price was very reasonable. It’s hard to find a trustworthy shop these days, so I’m happy to support a great local business like this. I’ll definitely be back! Bonus points: they have a cat at the shop, and we all know cat people are the best! 😺

I’ve been taking my vehicles to Authority Automotive for over 10 years, and I genuinely wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car repairs or maintenance. What keeps me coming back is their honesty, fair pricing, and fast service. I’ve never once had to bring my vehicle back because something wasn’t fixed correctly, which says a lot about the quality of their work. They never try to upsell unnecessary repairs, and I always feel confident that I’m getting an honest assessment and the best price possible. Chadd has helped me for years, and this most recent visit Chase took great care of me. I needed new brake pads and rotors on both the front and rear, plus a brake flush. Authority Automotive completed everything for $880. Before coming here, I was quoted over $1,500 at another shop (I just was there to get a quick inspection) and was told I needed several additional repairs. Authority Automotive inspected my vehicle and honestly told me those extra services weren’t necessary. Finding a mechanic you can truly trust is rare, and that’s exactly what you’ll find here. If you’re looking for an honest shop that does quality work at fair prices, I can’t recommend Authority Automotive enough. They’ve earned my business for the last decade, and they’ll continue to have it for many years to come.

Authority automotive was very fast and quick when it came down to expecting my damages due to a car accident. They were able to fix my water pump, and get me back on the road that same day. Their lovely cat kept me great company. The price was very reasonable. I will be back if anything else goes wrong with my vehicle 😉 Thank you soooo much. Every staff member was so good to me 😶‍🌫️

I had taken my vehicle to Authority Automotive to run diagnostics twice in the past. On both occasions, they decided not to charge me. I was shocked by their honesty and professionalism! When it came time to actually make significant repairs, I knew exactly where to go! Super reasonably priced and I’m glad I finally found a shop with folks I can trust!
