When I ask for quotes, they give them out! Apparently that’s a feat because nearby competitors absolutely will not do that! I know unexpected things can be discovered during the repair that can raise the price, but I appreciate that I asked for a quote and I got a quote over the phone! After that experience, I’ve taken my cash car here for repairs, and it gets quickly serviced.
They charged me to replace a bunch of parts because my ac wasn’t working. 4000 dollars and the problem wasn’t even fixed. Edit: they reduced the price to 3500 after I wrote this post. I see that Auto Check replied. I brought the car in because the system wasn’t cooling properly, not because of an “ac problem.” It was Auto Check’s diagnosis that led to replacing multiple parts only for the cooling issue to be unresolved. Furthermore, they introduced a new problem. The car can no longer charge above 12%. Unfortunately they are not experienced with this type of vehicle.
Sadly once this place changed ownership the safe feeling of going there and getting the best price and efficient work left. My son got a quote for looking for a water leak inside which would require removing the dashboard and replacing the front shocks and struts that was total around $3k. He took it to the Toyota dealership and they repaired the leak for $200. They recommended a few other items including a front axle replacement all for around $1800. Super friendly and attentive guys, but this is the second time I received a super high quote, only to take it elsewhere and it be about half.
