Auto Correct LLC is a breath of fresh air. After a bad experience with another local shop charging me for services they didn't perform, I was skeptical, BUT they completely won me over. Scheduling was a breeze, and they are one of the few quality shops in Tacoma open on weekends, which is a lifesaver for those of us with M-F jobs. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. Toni was incredibly pleasant and even offered me Cutie oranges while I waited. Brandon stopped by to chat, and it felt like catching up with an old friend, instead of just sitting in a mechanic's lobby. Most importantly: they are honest. Unlike shops that push unnecessary upsells, they only mentioned a minor part I already knew was on its way out. Absolutely no pressure, just transparency. They clearly prioritize people over profit and love what they do and care about their clients' best interests. Tip: Google Maps can be a little vague. Turn into the lot from Washington St; once you’re there, the entrance is clearly marked. They have a comfortable lobby with a TV, but the staff is so engaging you probably won’t even need it. If you want a shop, you can actually trust, go here. Supporting this local business is a no-brainer. If they’ll have me, I think I have found my local shop!

I would never go back there to have my car repaired! Auto Correct LLC had my car in their shop for the first time in May 2026 and had a clear task: to fix the engine air leak. The first time I got into the car, the EPC and engine check lights were still on, so he took another look at the car and charged me another $450 on top of the initial $1,300. When I went to pick up the car, the lights were still on, and he assured me that the system just needed to be reprogrammed. I drove the car for just 100 miles and experienced a significant loss of power. I then took the car to an official Volkswagen dealer, who found that the car’s condition had significantly worsened. By that point, the mechanic had rendered the car a total economic loss. Oil leaks hadn’t been sealed (which he was supposed to do), and the repairs he’d performed weren’t done properly. When I asked for a solution, I got no response, and after the salesperson who sold me the car (through whom all communication had been handled beforehand) followed up, all I got back was “I don’t care.” He caused massive damage and didn’t even try to help me. I’m starting college this year, and he’s taken everything I had. Please NEVER take your car here. Terrible place.

Was buying a used car right down the street and needed to get a pre-purchase inspection done and I contacted Auto Correct in Tacoma and they were 100% accommodating to me,fit me in on a tight schedule and even when I changed my mind and switched cars on him they were still so helpful and beneficial getting what I needed done. I 100% recommend!! Check them out for any repair needs on your vehicles, not just for inspection before you buy a car. Their rates were more than reasonable and the job done was extremely thorough and very helpful in my decision has to which vehicle I wanted to purchase. I would definitely go back again for any kind of auto repair that I might need and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Check them out you will definitely go home satisfied and better off than you were. They cannot be beat. I dealt with Brandon and he is the best!! 5 Star mechanic shop! That’s all I can say. Brandon & his team replaced PCV valves & hoses which wasn’t an easy job. Got my 🚙 up & running efficiently. Excellent customer service he & his wife Toni. They’ll definitely be my mechanic 👨‍🔧 for whatever work my or my fiancée 🚙 needs from here on out…
