Customers often highlight convenience and quick service. Reviewers describe walking in and getting plates in about ten minutes, completing a title transfer and plate request in around fifteen minutes, or finding no wait during a Saturday morning visit. Those are individual experiences rather than a guarantee of timing, but they give a useful picture of the kind of visit some customers have had. For people balancing work, errands, or a vehicle purchase, being able to ask about tags and title paperwork at one local agency can make the process feel more manageable.
The reviews also point to helpful, informative interactions. One customer appreciated receiving an explanation of the fees and process, while others described staff as welcoming and professional. The business has a 4.9-star rating from 52 reviews, a strong customer score that provides additional context as you compare local options. Since the details and requirements for a vehicle transaction can vary, it is sensible to bring the paperwork related to your situation and ask the agency what is needed before your visit. This is especially useful for an out-of-state title transfer or a tag transaction with specific documentation.
Experiences can differ: while many reviews praise speed and convenience, one customer reported arriving before the posted opening time and waiting after 10:00 a.m. without seeing anyone at the location. If you are traveling a long distance or have a time-sensitive transaction, consider confirming the location is open before setting out. For nearby drivers, Auto Tags & Insurance, LLC is a neighborhood option for tag and title services on Chester Avenue, with weekday and Saturday hours and customer feedback that frequently mentions efficient, helpful visits.

I was called on Tuesday and informed my title was received and I could come in to transfer my tags. Friday morning I drive up 5 hours from out of state, am out front at 09:45 as they are supposed to open at 10:00am. At 10:47 I have to call the other location in Collingdale, PA as no one has shown up. The person who answers the phone there is polite and helpful. Informs me that someone should be to this location in about 20 mins. It’s 11:15am still no one has shown up. All of the people in the local neighborhood say this is an everyday occurrence! They say the people who run the store show up typically around 11/12 or whenever they feel like it, but ensure to close on time at 5pm. If they didn’t have my title, I’d go somewhere else! Come at your own risk! One person on the phone said the guy was sick, the guy that showed up said it’s a family business and they were busy! They can’t even keep the lies straight. He is very sarcastic and has this attitude of the neighbor needs him or them so they can show up when they want! Very UNPROFESSIONAL instead of apologetic for the tardiness and inconsideration. His name is Elijah. He doesn’t know what he’s doing and is continuously on the phone asking questions because he’s unsure!!
Fastand convenient. I got mine after 5 pm! Kudos to AB!
Easily the best tag and title services I've had. Very professional and very quick. I had Elijah and he was super helpful and informative about the fees and process. Definitely recommend their services!
I walked in and had my plates within like 10 minutes. He was super helpful and welcoming and I’d definitely come back for more auto tag services in the future!
So easy!! Came in needing a title transfer from out of state and a plate. There was no wait (Saturday morning) and was in and out in fifteen minutes. The price was well worth the convenience. Thank you!
