I had a major repair done on my car about a year ago with them and it has been running great ever since. I brought my car in today for an oil change, they took the time to inspect the overall condition of the vehicle. They provided me with photos and explained the condition of the car, which was very helpful. Rod and the team are always friendly, professional, and thorough. Auto Werkstatt is truly one of the best mechanics, especially if you own a BMW or another European vehicle. I highly recommend!

Take your car somewhere better, especially if you have a BMW. Came to this shop to diagnose misfire & lean mixture codes, along with power management codes on my F82. After the diagnosis process they urged me to do a compression test & borescope; I pushed back asking if it would be better to check out air/fuel first considering the compression test would add an extra $1k that I did not feel was necessary. They stated that their "Master tech" was the one looking at it and they wouldn't just throw something out. Sure enough, borescope + compression test came back fine and nothing related to the misfire & air issue I was having. They said that when unplugging the MHD chip I had in, the car drove perfectly, with no misfires or codes. Took it home and the car is still misfiring and has lean mixture codes... $1,340 to unplug an MHD chip & "diagnose" the car by recommending services to charge you more. Only thing that came back was a small amount oil that was leaking from the valve cover that was on the THREAD of the spark plug, according to these guys that COULD be the cause for the misfire and needs a $5,600 charge to fix. Took it to a shop in Lynnwood this morning and they have already ruled out the valve cover, which this shop thought "could" be the cause. When bringing this up to them, I was left on read. Don't make the same mistake, save your time and money and take it to an actual specialist.

Had a big job done on 2009 Mini Cooper S. Timing chain, this was my fist timing chain replacement at 130k (folks always check your oil and they do last longer than advertised). Plus a bunch of other stuff so my Cooper will be on the road for a long time. They communicate great, provided me with all issues that I should address to insure that they returned to me my car in the best running condition possible. I believe they understood my goals with this car and delivered. Great service!
