Good honest mechanics are hard to find, but AutoTech treated me right. I took my 2011 Jetta in with a problem that wasn’t easy to figure out, and they stuck with it until they got it fixed. What impressed me most was that even after realizing it was a tougher repair than expected, they still honored the original quote instead of trying to charge me more. That kind of honesty is rare these days. The car is running great now, and I can honestly say AutoTech is the only shop I want working on my car from here on out.

Excellent in every way!! This team is always fast and reliable. They have some amazing prices, and they are so easy to work with. They did a complete brake job and rotors for my BMW 535i. Even had a chance to speak with the technician, who also gave me other tips about my car. (Very knowledgeable) I have found myself using them more and more for minor things. I refer them to anyone I know. It's hard to find a reliable shop that can do great work on a foreign vehicle.

AutoTech's mechanics perform terrific Pre-purchase Inspections (PPI's). In May/June of '26, I needed a PPI and I'd found AutoTech via Google and they have good reviews. I brought in a Volvo that I'd checked myself but there was a growl that I couldn't identify. They did however and it was a transmission problem that would have cost several thousand to fix. Since that one failed and I paid full price (no coupons, senior discounts and such), they said I could bring in a second and it would be discounted. So I did and they found nothing serious so I'm negotiating on it right now. I have a lot of confidence as they said the car was worth buying. Thanks Mr. Lee and everyone!

would not recommend Auto Tech in Irving for transmission work or warranty support. My Dodge flatbed was in and out of their shop for nearly 2 years dealing with transmission problems. They replaced the transmission twice, and now the rear seal is leaking again. The most frustrating part is that the truck spent so much time sitting in their shop that the 1-year / 12,000-mile warranty expired while they had possession of the vehicle instead of it actually being on the road. After contacting them about the continued leak and ongoing issues, I was simply told the warranty had expired. An auto repair shop should have in house warranty as well as manufacture warranty and should stand behind the repair, especially when the vehicle repeatedly returns for the same transmission-related problems. I gave them multiple chances to make it right and was very disappointed with how this situation was handled. Also Lee who installed transmissions said I needed additional water pump and others parts for truck to run well with new transmission ( $2860 for parts and labor plus initial $4400 for trans . ) Are honest ppl in business anymore ??

Thank you Thank you Thank you AutoTech for servicing my 1999 Honda CR-V over the many years. It's been a Blessing to me and I would have loved to keep it for many more years, but with Happy-Sadness I'd like to inform that I finally traded it in for a 2026 Honda CR-V 🎉 I pray that I'm able to have this new car for triple the years I've had my old one.
