Avalon Day Spa is a day spa at 4625 W Flamingo Rd in Las Vegas, NV, offering a place to make time for a massage during a visit to the city or a local day off. Customer feedback highlights couples massages, including 60-minute sessions, as well as deep-tissue massage and hot stones. The spa has a 4.5-star rating based on 950 reviews, giving visitors a broad range of experiences to consider as they decide whether it suits their plans and preferences.
For couples, friends, or anyone who would like to share a quiet wellness break, a couples massage is one of the services customers specifically describe. Reviewers mention therapists who were kind, professional, and attentive to pressure; one guest particularly appreciated a deep-tissue massage with hot stones. Individual experiences can differ, but these comments offer a useful picture of what some visitors have enjoyed. If pressure or another preference matters to you, it is sensible to discuss it with the spa when arranging your appointment.
Planning appears straightforward for some guests: reviewers describe making reservations easily and receiving text reminders. A few customers also say the spa matched a Groupon price when they called directly, rather than purchasing through Groupon. Pricing and promotions may change, so contact Avalon Day Spa before booking if you want to ask about a current offer or confirm the details. For visitors coordinating a shared massage or fitting a treatment into a Las Vegas itinerary, checking availability in advance can help set expectations.
The feedback is not uniformly positive, and one reviewer described a disappointing spa-day experience. That perspective matters alongside the many favorable comments about soothing massages, friendly service, and professional staff. Reading recent reviews and communicating your needs before your visit can help you decide whether the experience is right for you. Avalon Day Spa may be worth considering if your priority is a massage-focused outing, especially a couples session, rather than assuming that every visit will be the same.
Avalon Day Spa is open Monday and Thursday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; it is closed Tuesday and Wednesday, according to its listed schedule. Its location on West Flamingo Road makes the address useful to confirm when planning transportation around Las Vegas. Whether you are a local looking for a scheduled massage or visiting with a partner or friend, check the hours and appointment availability directly before setting out. A little advance planning can make it easier to choose a time that works for everyone.

I really wanted to love this place, especially since this spa day was something my friend and I were looking forward to. I even traveled 6 hours to spend the day with her, so it was meant to be relaxing and special but unfortunately, it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. We booked a full spa package (Swedish massage, facial, mani, and pedi for $280 each), and right from the start we were separated because there was only one nail tech available. That alone took away from the experience, since the whole point was to enjoy the day together. My massage was honestly one of the worst I’ve had. The first 20-30 minutes were done over the sheet, mostly just pressing down. I mentioned I’ve been dealing with sciatic pain in my right hip, and all she did was press down on it repeatedly no massaging of any kind. When she did use oil, it was mostly light, repetitive motions with almost no pressure, and with one hand. It felt as if she was on her phone in her other hand repeatedly. There were obvious knots in my shoulders that were never worked out, despite being noticeable. It felt more like going through the motions than an actual massage. I truly felt more like I was being “petted” not massaged. The massage also felt incomplete. The only work on my arms was with a fine size amount of lotion and pressing, once again no massaging. I thought during my facial the front side of my legs, arms, side of my neck muscles would get worked and they never did. My feet, shoulders, or the front of my legs never got attention . I’ve had combination services before, and this just didn’t compare. I’ve never had one in NV before, so my entire experience I just kept thinking “oh, maybe it will be next”. The facial was equally underwhelming. The equipment was loud and distracting, and very squeaky. Before my facial started I had asked to reuse the bathroom as the recommended us drink plenty of water before and after appt and since our service was 3.5 I needed to go before stuck during facial. She said “yes of course, let me just get your skin prepped”. The esthetician left the room multiple times during massage & facial leaving the door wide open, which made me feel exposed and uncomfortable. I had to use the restroom so badly when she left me under a red-light lamp for over 10 mins. I was starting to panic when she finally came in and realized she forgot to let me go before she started. It was stressful instead of relaxing. She had me walk down the hall to restroom with a blanket wrapped around me. That shouldn’t happen during a spa service. Hot stones were placed on my back but never actually used, and the whole service felt disorganized and disconnected. The best way for me to describe my experience is it felt like child’s play. The nail tech was kind and gentle, which I appreciated, but the room itself was noticeably dirty, which is concerning in that setting. My polish was also messy, with clear coat left on my skin, so I don’t expect it to last. To make matters worse, I woke up the today with a reaction to the gel polish and my fingers are now swollen, red, and very itchy. What made it worse was that when I brought up my concerns, I was basically told that this is just how they do things and that I might be use to other places. That response felt dismissive instead of taking accountability. My friend had a similar experience. She even asked multiple times for attention to her shoulders due to pain and even though she was acknowledged, she said she barely had 2 mins worked on her shoulders. I understand that not every experience will be perfect, but for the price and the expectation of a relaxing spa day, this really missed the mark. I left feeling more frustrated than relaxed, which is the exact opposite of what we came for.
FANTASTIC experience. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. We did a 60 min couples massage. Found on Groupon but call them before you book the Groupon and they can match the Groupon price. The deep tissue massage had the perfect pressure, they used hot stones and were so kind and professional! I usually don’t like 60 min massages because they don’t feel long enough but I left this massage feeling I had a 2 hour massage after only 1. Exceptional. And the receptionist was so kind. We will definitely be back and tell anyone coming to Vegas!
We go to Vegas once or twice a year. On every single trip we book one or two couples massage in advance. They will match Groupon price w/out buying it on Groupon. Excellent, professional, friendly and the very BEST!!! We look forward to going here. We leave feeling Fantastic!
Great experience😁 Friendly and very professional and very soothing. My husband & I had our first amazing massage. We had two awesome ladies. …
