Sign in to reviewI was very impressed with Avalon Dental in Katy! I am a new patient and my hygienist was very gentle and constantly kept me informed of everything she was about to do. She also projected my X-rays onto a big screen and explained and educated me on what dentists look for regarding healthy gums and teeth - I have NEVER been shown my own X-rays in this manner and it was very helpful! Dr. Bartholomew (Dr. B) then came in and continued pointing out things on my X-rays and was extremely personable. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience - which is odd to say when going to the dentist! I would not hesitate to recommend Avalon Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist!
I had a great experience at Avalon Dental & Orthodontics Katy! The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. Sydney provided my services and was very informative, positive, and welcoming! The service was fast and efficient, and I didn't have to wait long for my appointment. The office was clean, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere. The dentist and Sydney took the time to answer my questions and made the entire visit stress-free. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for quality dental care and excellent customer service!
Avalon dental and orthodontics was fantastic. I am very anti-dentist and walking in. They made me feel welcome and part of a family. Dr. B was incredibly thorough. Isabella, the dental hygienist was amazing. The offices managers at the front Ximena and Atiana were incredible. They helped with my insurance needs and were very patient and friendly. Please don't shy away from Avalon they are honest and no surprises The place was just FUN!
Dr. Bartholomew is THE best dentist I’ve had in my adult life. He’s helped ease my dental anxiety. He’s funny, kind, attentive, nurturing and just a true angel. So grateful to have met my family’s dentist and I will sing his praises everywhere I go. Also, his team is absolutely awesome. Everyone at his practice is wonderful, patient and kind. Just wow. I’ve never felt this great after getting a cavity filled 😂.
Hygienists are very professional and I’ve no complain about their expertise. Although staff from management is little lacking on communication. I’ve had two billing issues : 1) I went for normal cleaning and they performed detailed cleaning . I ended up paying $500 rather than $0 . Although they reduced their price from $800 to $500 based on situation we were in but of course it was a big shock for me when they asked me to pay huge amount which I was not expecting. 2) My son went alone for cleaning and they asked for some additional procedure , I asked my son about price and reception has confirmed very nominal fee of $20 and I approved on phone . When I went to pick my son they asked me to pay $80 just citing error in estimate. Those two cases with me lost little faith in their staff and I am looking for outer options although I was very happy with their hygienist.
