Her calm presence immediately puts everyone at ease, and she consistently treats my husband with dignity and respect. Emanuel, our occupational therapist, is a wonderful combination of gentleman, coach, and teacher. He helps my husband understand how to perform activities safely and effectively while building strength and confidence. His stories, encouragement, and personable nature make each visit both productive and enjoyable. One area where this team truly exceeds expectations is communication. Every member of the team, Chanell, Citta, Henrietta and Emanuel, is exceptionally attentive and professional in keeping us informed. They consistently schedule visits in advance, send confirmation texts, follow up the night before, and keep us updated regarding arrival times or any changes. Their communication is proactive, thoughtful, and reliable. What is most remarkable is that although they are caring for multiple patients, they have a way of making you feel as though you are their only priority. That level of attentiveness and personal care is rare and has made an enormous difference during a challenging time. Together, this team has made the past 30 days significantly more positive than I could have imagined. Their professionalism is outstanding, but what truly sets them apart is their genuine care for the people they serve. Gerry Cruz was the therapist I worked with from Avalon in Home rehab following my total knee replacement. He was prompt, reliable, and gave me precise exercises to do starting 2 days after my surgery. I would highly recommend him and Avalon for inhome Pt- I felt comfortable doing the assigned exercises, and was right on track when I switched to out - in patient rehab. Years ago following hip replacement surgery I had some weeks of inhome PT, and I felt it was not helpful at all. Totally different this time.

I recently had a hip replacement and my surgeon's office arranged for at-home physical therapy with Avalon. Gerry, the physical therapist assigned to me, came by for an assessment the day after surgery. We started working together a couple of days later. Gerry was definitely able to assess my strength, and judge when I was able to do more. While he made sure to challenge me, he was also very careful to make sure I wasn't trying to do too much, to soon; a failing I definitely have. Gerry also assisted with navigating my daily life as I recover. He showed me an easier to get in and out of my tub/shower fixture than I had planned and showed me some adaptations I could use to help getting dressed and maneuvering around my apartment. I am quite please with the services provided by Avalon and would recommend them if asked.

Fabulous team for in - house Physical therapy and Occupational therapy after my stroke. In one and a half months the therapy exercises which Waseem and Emmanuel had me follow literally had me walking and writing again. Flexible in arranging the schedule yet organized in approach, procedure, and goals. Highly recommend for any level.
