About

B&A Auto Repair Smog Check is listed on FindALoco in San Leandro, CA with address, phone, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Auto Repair Shop.

B&A Auto Repair Smog Check is an auto repair shop located at 16714 E 14th St in San Leandro, CA 94578. The shop's name points to both vehicle repair and smog-check needs, placing it among options for drivers seeking an auto repair shop or smog check in San Leandro, California. It is listed as open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and closed Sunday. Those daytime hours may suit local residents who can plan a vehicle visit during the workweek or on Saturday. Since shop schedules can change, customers may want to confirm hours before leaving home.

This San Leandro business has been mentioned by customers in connection with smog testing, an oil-leak concern on a Volkswagen, and brake-related work. That range of feedback suggests that visitors may arrive with both inspection-related needs and everyday repair concerns. Because each vehicle's condition, testing requirements, and repair scope differ, it is useful to confirm the shop can address the particular concern before going. For a smog check, ask what the visit includes, what happens if the vehicle does not pass, and whether a later retest carries a separate charge. The reviews do not provide a complete service menu, so they do not confirm that every repair type, vehicle model, or diagnostic request is available.

The available rating is 2.9 out of 5 from 10 reviews, and the written feedback includes important concerns that prospective customers should weigh. Several reviewers described dissatisfaction with smog-test pricing and said they were charged again after an unsuccessful result; others reported concerns about repair outcomes, a key fob, or the tone of a phone interaction. These are customer reports, not independently verified findings, but they make clear communication especially valuable. Before authorizing work, consider requesting an itemized estimate, confirming labor and testing fees, asking how follow-up visits are handled, and keeping records of the agreed service. The reviews are limited in number and describe individual encounters, so they are best considered alongside a direct conversation about current procedures.

For drivers near East 14th Street, B&A Auto Repair Smog Check may be relevant when comparing local repair and smog-check options in San Leandro, CA. It may be a practical stop for people who need daytime or Saturday availability and who are prepared to discuss their vehicle's needs in detail. Calling ahead can help verify current hours, availability, the exact service requested, and expected costs before making the trip. The listing does not indicate whether visits require an appointment, making advance contact useful for avoiding an unnecessary wait. This approach lets customers make a considered choice based on their car, timing, and budget.

$150 Rip off. This was the worst and most expensive station I have ever been to. Almost like they didn't know what they were doing. Never have I ever seen it take two techs to do a smog. Don't waste your time. Take your vehicle to Quick Smog

I have Volkswagen and there was oil leaking. I went to get it fix at this place. I have a very bad experience. They wasted my 3 days and still they didn't get fix my cars issue and plus on top that I have more issues in my car since I got it back from them. Those issues were not there before. When I went there 2nd to tell them the issue that they didn't fix and that guy behaved very rudely with me and denied to do the service. They are very unprofessional

I called the shop on a Saturday to check if it was open, and the response I received was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. I simply wanted to confirm before making the trip, but the way I was spoken to left a very negative impression. Customer service matters, even over the phone.
