Sign in to reviewWe were so sad that our favorite pho and sushi spot in 4S Ranch closed (Sea Salt). But then we passed by Bamboo Pho and Sushi and thought: wait could this be the reincarnation of our beloved restaurant? We had to find out and YES it is the same owners and same menu! I’m wary of any restaurant that serves 2 different kinds of cuisines but Bamboo (previously Sea Salt) makes the best pho in north county and their sushi is excellent too! This place is a family-run gem! It satisfies both our Vietnamese food and sushi cravings. The pho broth is clean seasoned well. My Vietnamese husband and mother in law both approve - which says a lot. Sushi rolls are well made, not overloaded with rice and the fish is fresh. I see they also have large sushi party platters which I will order soon! So happy to find this restaurant again! UPDATE: ordered a sushi platter for my daughter’s birthday and it was so good and beautifully presented! Included 8 speciality rolls that fed our family of 5. Will definitely order the sushi platter again!
Just tried the new pho and sushi restaurant in town and it was such a pleasant surprise! The sushi was really fresh and nicely presented, and the pho had a rich, flavorful broth that tasted homemade. The service was warm and attentive , making the whole experience even better. A sweet bonus: they gave free ice cream for my kids, which made our little one's day. Definitely a great spot for both sushi lovers and pho fans -- we'll be coming back for sure!

The owner turned a formal Rubios Restaurant into a quaint, clean, vibrant restaurant that is spacious and welcoming. Come check it out. I promise you will NOT be disappointed for authentic Pho, Vietnamese cuisine and delicious sushi.
I love that this restaurant exists, offering both pho and sushi!! It was perfect for my family, where the adults had pho and the kids had sushi. We all enjoyed our food!
We came here at a Saturday night. It wasn’t busy here and it seems like a new opened place. My husband found it randomly. But the foods is kinda surprised us, we thought they were mainly focused on Vietnamese pho noodles. We ordered sashimi and poke, both are very yummy, fish are fresh and the quantity is good. We hope they can do well and bring more business soon.
