Great place. Been coming here for years. I know it's going to sound funny, but I actually love this place because of the oil and lotion they use. Lol. Strange I know, but I can't stand when getting a massage and going places and feeling sticky/oily on my clothes and rubbing off on the inside of the car. Especially if you have work to do the rest of the day. So whatever they use here it's nice. The skill of the staff is hit/miss. Just like any other place. Some are absolutely great. But unfortunately sometimes they move/leave and you have to try a different masseuse with a different style. It can be disappointing when people leave. Primary language of the staff is Chinese. Some speak great English. Most speak passable English (where to focus on, how much pressure, etc.). I like to use google translate to convey how much pressure and what spots to avoid if I have injury. It's a small place on the second floor above another massage parlor. The "rooms" are curtained. There's a bathroom. No walls/closed rooms. The place seems consistently clean. I never have smelled any weird smells or seen any dirty/re-used towels. When I finish my massage I see them taking everything off and replacing with new linen/towels. So that's always good. (You'd think this should be standard but I've seen other places not always do this). Affordable ($35 per hour). Leave a good tip for them please. You might think 10% is standard and 20% is generous. But this isn't a restaurant. Most people don't understand this isn't like Massage Envy (base pay + tips). The $35 you pay doesn't go to them. They live off tips. Most places like this operate this way.

My back was really sore, so I did a quick Yelp search looking for a cheap massage. I called ahead of time and let the receptionist know that I would be coming. I showed up a little early around 11 AM and snapped a quick picture of the outside of the shop. When I entered, 2 Chinese ladies were inside. They were visibly disturbed that I had taken a photo of the outside of the shop (pictured below) and talked to each other about me in Chinese. They stared at me without saying anything and I had to approach the counter to ask if I could get massage. The owner, Mindy, said she would prefer it I didn't take photos. I told her I was planning to leave a positive review and she loosened up a bit and let me take more, but still treated me like I was suspicious. After paying, I was told to wait in the waiting room. I drank cold water from the machine and felt uncomfortable, like I was being watched by hawks. Finally, I was called to come inside by a tall young lady. The place appeared to be huge inside, with many rooms going as far back as the eye can see. I was taken into a small, clean room decorated with a nice painting on red walls. The other reviews are no joke -- That one hour in the room made me feel like I was in heaven. My masseuse, Coco, was FANTASTIC. This was probably the best massage I've ever received in my life!!! Coco didn't speak much English, but she was sweet, kind, and had the PERFECT touch. I'm really super picky when it comes to massages, but I had absolutely no complaints about this experience. Coco knew exactly where to touch me and used just the right amount of force without me having to say anything. $35 for a one-hour full body massage is a steal!!! Coco was amazing and did everything from my temples to my toes. I felt completely relaxed by the warm water foot bath, her incredible hands, and the soothing music soundtrack playing the entire time. When the massage was over, Coco diligently cleaned away the lotion and oils from my skin using a warm towel. It was such a refreshing and rejuvenating experience. I would give this place 6 stars for the massage itself, but had to knock down the rating a bit because the owner, Mindy, and the other worker were quite rude at the beginning. I did not feel welcome when I entered the shop. But I'm glad I decided to stick around anyway! Thank you so much, Coco, for changing my life with your magical massage. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends and family! :)
