We feel very fortunate to have found Dan when we moved to Denver from overseas during the pandemic. Not knowing the where we wanted to live in the city, but also not wanting to be locked into a one-year rental lease, Dan’s business model gave us exactly the flexibility that we were looking for. Our rental house was perfect for the needs of our family, and was completely ready for us upon our arrival in Denver. Any kind of maintenance or service requests were a breeze and were attended to promptly. Dan was an extremely attentive, knowledgable and patient guide to the (somewhat of out control) Denver real estate market. He took the time to listen to what we valued in both a home and neighborhood, and familiarized us with the different parts of Denver, helping us narrow down our focus search areas. He was quite proactive in terms of flagging potential matches for us and was always available at short notice to go and see a potential home. His knowledge of the Denver area, coupled with his extensive knowledge of house construction and architecture, made Dan an unbelievable resource. He helped us examine not only the current condition of potential homes, but also talked us through potential renovations, issues which could affect future market value, and pros/cons of each property. We never once felt pressured to make an offer on a home, and Dan made very clear that we should not feel pressured to make any offer on a home with which we were not completely comfortable. For several homes in which we were interested, Dan spent considerable time speaking with us and answering our myriad questions before deciding on whether or not to make an offer. When we did find the home we wanted, Dan expertly guided us through the entire process of making a competitive offer, and understanding how to be a competitive buyer without overpaying in what is very much a seller’s market in Denver. I think what may have impressed me the most was the continued support from Dan and his team after we made a successful offer on our home. Dan supported us through the home inspection process, surveying the property, and developing a timeline and task list for the entire closing process. We had complete flexibility in terms of moving out of our rental, and the ability to transition at our own pace - and not having the burden of a fixed-term rental contract - reduced our stress considerably. I simply cannot imagine finding a better real estate agent in the Denver market, and I honestly don’t believe that we would be in home right now if we hadn’t found Dan and his unique business model.
