Bay Area Community Health is a medical clinic located at 40910 Fremont Blvd in Fremont, CA, for people seeking care close to home in the East Bay. Its Fremont Boulevard address places it within reach for local patients comparing nearby care choices. For those searching online for a Fremont medical clinic, it is a familiar name to some long-term community members. One reviewer describes a relationship with the organization that began during its earlier Foothill Dental history in San Jose, while another discusses messaging a primary health doctor through the MyHealth online account.

Patient feedback names staff members including Dr. Dickey, Doctor Vanesa, and Ale. Some reviewers specifically describe these individuals as respectful, honest, or kind, and one patient says they appreciate all of the doctors. These comments suggest that personal interactions with a particular clinician or staff member can be a meaningful part of the experience. People who value continuity may also note that reviews include patients who have stayed connected with Bay Area Community Health for many years.

Available comments point to care involving primary-health communication, dental-related experiences, and referrals to outside specialists. Needs differ by patient and service line, so anyone considering Bay Area Community Health in Fremont, California can ask the clinic which current services are appropriate for their needs. It can also be useful to confirm how messages, follow-up, and referrals are handled, especially when a specialist visit is expected or when help navigating the next step would be valuable.

The 2.8 rating, based on 66 reviews, reflects a mixed set of patient perspectives. Alongside praise for specific doctors and friendly staff, other reviewers report difficulty using the online account, confusion about specialist referral steps, and concerns about office communication, professionalism, or dental care. These are individual reported experiences rather than a complete picture, but they provide useful context for patients who prefer clear instructions and timely answers. Older adults or anyone managing a referral may wish to ask for the process in plain, step-by-step terms.

For residents of Fremont and nearby communities, this location may be worth considering for an established local clinic relationship, particularly for patients who want to speak with a care team directly about their options. Before planning a visit, prospective patients can verify practical details such as available care, clinician availability, insurance acceptance, patient-portal support, and referral coordination. That direct conversation can help determine whether the clinic's current services and communication approach suit a patient's individual health needs. It also allows patients to prepare questions specific to their treatment, care, or follow-up and to make an informed choice about a provider.

I have been with Bay Area Community Health back help when it used to be called Foothill dental in San Jose Monterey Street. Recently in September, I went online to send a message to my primary health doctor. I found that Bayarea community health attached information to my health online. Attaching information or doctor reminders for my foot or my dental is against the law they even went as far as to post that I have cervical cancer. I am planning to call the California medical board to let them know what this community center in Fremont is doing to my medical director status. It’s false information. I never gave them my health online chart number at all. I will be contacting somebody. Thank you.

The worst dental office in ever visited. From patient care, professionalism’s of the stuff to the office manager, deserves a big negative 10 review. Total disaster for patients. They work on the teeth that was healthy instead of taking care of the tooth that was in pain for months. Keep on making mistakes after mistakes. This place needs to shut down immediately

Igot to say this online because the my health account isn't working out properly for me. I've been with this company for many years now and I have to give respect and credit when it's due to Dr Dickey solely & only. For being the best respectfulest honest and loyaltiest real stand up man. But unfortunately as for the rest of this company it's hurrable. The call centers manager and his staff are very rude and disrespectful. They literally have blocked me for well over a month from getting any help or service from my care team providers. The mental health department of Psychiatrist and therapist are also really bad and sucks. They make my symptoms worse as they will argue with me for reporting or wanting to file a complaints on me being treated wrongfully. I've been complaining in writing, and on the phone for a whole year about these two departments. As of today still nothing nor anyone's reached out to me about my complaints on multiple situation. It makes this company bay area community health as a whole look really bad. So today I decided I am not gonna be receiving my mental health services from this company anymore. But unfortunately I still need Immediate help and communication about resolving the issues with the Call Centers team still.

I like all the doctors, but when I’m referred to another specialist, the process becomes confusing and difficult to navigate—especially for older patients. I was referred to another doctor along with my friend, and it wasn’t clear what the next steps were. Because of this, I’m considering changing doctors.
