⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire staff at Baylor Hospital. I was treated for appendicitis and had to undergo surgery. Thank God, everything went very well and there were no complications.From the moment I arrived, I received excellent care. The doctors, surgeons, nurses, and assistants were incredibly professional, kind, caring, and attentive. Throughout my entire stay, they constantly checked on me, made sure I was comfortable, and ensured that I had everything I needed.I also want to highlight how wonderful the hospital facilities are. Everything was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The cleanliness throughout the hospital was excellent, which made me feel even more comfortable and safe during my stay. You can truly see the care and attention they put into maintaining such a clean and pleasant environment.They made me feel safe and very well cared for during such a difficult moment. I am truly grateful to every person who was involved in my care, surgery, and recovery.Thank you for your dedication, patience, compassion, professionalism, and excellent work. I highly recommend Baylor Hospital and its amazing medical team. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of me! ❤️🙏

Called our PCP office and gave symptoms to triage nurse on call about my husband. She recommended we get to nearest ER within an hour. When we arrived about 9 pm Christmas eve. Security was excellent, very easy açess to parking, short wait for checking in. Med assistant was excellent. ER staff Anita-nurse and Dr. Daniel Phillips was very caring, informative and proactive. Kept us updated as they quickly did tests and reported back. Managed our expectations well. Facility was very well maintained even at night and on a holiday. See ER and private room pics. All staff we had contact with were great. Asum the nurse was great and very attentive. 4th floor team 5 star.

I just had a C-section done here on 4/17, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Every single staff member was warm and welcoming. Nurse Heidi and Pam helped prep me and bring me back to the OR, and they were supportive and talked me through everything along the way. The whole crew in the OR was laid back and cleared any anxiety I may have felt. My anesthesiologist, Mitch, was quick and effective with the meds, talking to me along the way. Dr. Patel was quick with the surgery and made sure I had immediate bonding time with my little man once delivered, and the entire staff in the maternity ward was an absolute dream. Every single nurse was attentive and amazing and didn’t make me feel like I was overwhelmed during my stay. I actually felt like baby and I were able to rest. My pain management was phenomenal which was extremely helpful with my recovery. Every nurse was amazing, but I want to thank Nurse Sarah in particular. Her kindness and knowledge didn’t go unnoticed and we loved having her visit the room. Thank you all for the amazing experience! 10/10 would recommend Baylor Irving for any expecting mama’s!

I would like to start off with saying that I am extremely grateful with this hospital. I have been hospitalized a few times already in this hospital and they have literally saved my life twice. The people that work here nurses doctors they are amazing literally answered every single question I had. took care of all my needs. was very concerned and really human in the way they treated me. I really appreciate this hospital and everything they do for the public. Also, in the mornings, the prayers in the intercom were always really calming and just really made me feel at peace and in good hands.

I had a very poor experience during my most recent labor and delivery stay. I previously delivered two of my children at this hospital and had positive experiences, which makes this last experience especially disappointing. Throughout my stay, I felt that my privacy, my decisions, and my newborn’s well-being were not respected. Many daytime nurses lacked professionalism, and some doctors were dismissive and poorly communicative. Doctor Wang was the only provider who was consistently considerate, respectful, and supportive. I was not properly informed about several aspects of my care, and my privacy was repeatedly violated. Even when family was visiting, staff entered the room without respect for boundaries. I clearly informed nurses that I did not want a blood transfusion due to past experiences with vein infiltration and instead requested IV iron. Despite this, I felt pressured and bullied by multiple nurses from both my floor and other floors. Staff were overheard gossiping about my decision, which was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Additionally, several techs repeatedly picked up my newborn each time they entered the room, even after I had put my baby to sleep. Lactation specialists came in daily and continued to pressure me to breastfeed after I had already communicated that I had everything under control. Nurses handled my personal belongings without permission and even damaged one of my bags. After I refused the blood transfusion, equipment was left scattered around my room and the floor was left messy, forcing me to clean the room myself so my family could be comfortable. One of the most serious incidents occurred when a nurse opened my locked restroom door while I was showering without knocking or asking permission. This was a complete violation of my privacy and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. Due to the ongoing lack of respect, poor communication, pressure regarding my medical decisions, and repeated privacy violations, I ultimately chose to discharge myself early. I would have stayed longer if I had felt safe, respected, and properly cared for. Unfortunately, this was the worst hospital experience I have ever had.
