Where do I begin?? I have used Lishma multiple times for many family events! I already knew I wanted to use her for all my bridal looks! After securing a date for our wedding, she was the first person I called to book! I’m sure other brides will understand, makeup and hair is one of the biggest things all brides want to make sure is done correctly because we all want to look our best on our big day and pictures will last forever! Lishma is really easy to work with and she understood that I wanted something natural and not cakey. I showed her some inspo pictures for hair and makeup for all my events and she was able to achieve exactly what I envisioned for all my looks. Her and her team were amazing to work with and my entire family loved all their looks! I used her for my engagement ceremony, all my wedding events and will reach out to her for all my other future events. Also, booking a trial session is great because she’s able to test out all of your hair and makeup styles pre event so you know exactly what to expect on your big day without having to be anxious the day of! She truly is a great person and someone who you can have a great conversation with on your big day because lets face it, you will be sitting in that chair for a few hours so she can make you look perfect!

I had the pleasure of having Lishma and her team get my family members and I ready for my wedding weekend. She was quick to respond from the beginning. Lishma and her team were excellent to work with. They were punctual and we were ready well before the photo ready time which gave us extra time to take pictures for each event. My makeup and hair looked perfect through each event. Weddings can be emotional and I felt like even through all the tears my makeup never moved. Her team was so polite while working with my family members and even made my grandmother (who never wears makeup) feel very comfortable. Lishma’s draping skills were amazing. She was able to quickly and efficiently drape even the most complicated sari material to look flawless on my family members. I would 10/10 recommend her and her team for your next event.

Lishma and her team did such a wonderful job for my wedding on 10/5/2024! As a Sri Lankan bride who was wearing a sari and had all her bridesmaids wearing saris, it was so important to me to have a capable desi woman in charge of not just hair and makeup for me but also draping everyone’s outfits. The final ensemble blew me away and made the day so special. She was super flexible and gave me wiggle room to add people as they decided if they also wanted hair or makeup done, and she also did my mother’s hair, makeup, and sari draping. I felt like a beautiful bride on my wedding day and my sari stayed put until I changed into my afterparty dress. Her work is very good for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Lishma for any desi bride looking for someone who can do it all!

I am so glad Lishma was able to do the hair, makeup, and draping for me and my mom during my wedding! She not only did a phenomenal job of making me look beautiful but she made me feel comfortable looking glammed up, especially as someone who doesn’t wear much makeup. I had booked Lishma for my South Indian wedding in LA (Nov 2020). She was extremely professional and easy to work with! She was my one stop solution for all my wedding needs. I got my customised henna for my hands and feet, and 2 looks for my wedding( including lehenga and saree draping) . She went beyond my expectations and made me look extremely gorgeous for my wedding. I was drowned in compliments!! She was quick, smart, understood what I wanted and delivered her best! I can vouch for her professionality and punctuality. She would never disappoint!!
