I came to the salon with uneven hair color, but the stylists did an amazing job transforming it into the exact color I wanted. I absolutely love the result! Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the process. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back!
It was the dishonesty for me. I asked for a full head highlight and slightly darker/blended root. They left the bleach in my hair for too long and then tried to correct it with an AMMONIA based toner. The smell was horrific and they were telling me that their “high quality color” is the reason for the smell. My scalp started to burn and they asked me if I had washed my hair that day. Which is gaslighting. My hair looks terrible. The shade is way too light and my greys are not covered. They claimed it was because I “can’t tolerate” their color. I have been dying my hair for 34 years and have never had an experience even close to this. My scalp hurts, my hair has multiple different colors in it and is the consistency of straw. To add insult to injury, they charged me $195. They offered to have me come back and fix it, but this salon uses unnecessarily harsh chemicals that have changed the quality of my hair. When I got home I tried to rinse it with rice water and was unable to use a brush because my hair is so brittle. UPDATE: in response to the business’ reply, I want to clarify that bleach was used to highlight my hair, which was then left in for too long (35 minutes.) The color corrector had ammonia in it, which I could not tolerate. It is objectively false that this business uses high quality products. If they do, they were not used on me. I do not know when my hair will return to the quality it was when I walked in. Also - I was contacted by the salon AFTER my review posted.
Love, love, love this salon! Macy is amazing. This store provides incredible customer service. They really care about customers leaving happy after their visit. I go here for cuts, coloring and highlights. Very pleased with all services.
I couldn’t be any happier with Macy work. I highly recommend her. She is very welcoming and very honest about any hair treatment you want. Very satisfied, she dyed my hair and did keratin treatment. Thank you Macy!
Macy did my hair and it was amazing. She was super nice, very attentive, and helped me pick out the right shade of blonde for my hair. Great prices too. Would recommend to anyone and I will definitely be coming back again.
