They seem to be open nearly 365 days/yr and punch way above their weight class in terms of square footage, with an awesome selection of dry goods (nuts, oats, seeds, flours, etc), vegetables, local breads, etc. Best of all, you never wait in line more than 2-5 mins. They are a true go-to home cooked dinner savior whenever I work too late to do a larger grocery run but still want to put quality food on the table for my family.
This is a small local market that is convenient and is stocked with a good variety of products. The problem is the produce is mediocre, even sometimes rotten, (especially bad when compared to Monterey Market up the street) and the owner/manager is rude. I swing by often but after recent visits I wonder why I spend so much money on overpriced bad produce from a nasty person. YMMV
They carry a rare selection of chocolate bars. Fellow chocolate fiends will appreciate this. They also have some other unique items like sandwiche cookies with a cream center. If you can tell, I have a healthy sweet tooth. Aside from that, the produce, as organic as it may be, is a small selection. Which is understandable considering the stores foot print. Friendly team and good customer service are some other positives. But in my opinion this neighborhood grocer is more suited for small grocery hauls, rather than buying a weeks worth of groceries for a family of four or more. But that’s one person’s opinion. Keep in mind the five star review. I still definitely recommend the business. Until the next local discovery, happy and healthy eating.
My absolute favorite small, local grocery store that specializes in health food! Great community vibe and friendly atmosphere. Everyone is always so warm and inviting. Feels personal and non-corporate.
Quality of produce was bad lots of mushy and bruised fruits and the customer service is horrible while checking out the oranges. I kindly asked to see as an employee was stocking while conversing with a customer nothing bad but the way they came at me for “interrupting” conversation when I just wanted to check out the oranges was very foul especially in a customer service setting.
