Sign in to reviewBing is the best in town. I have been going to Bing for my haircuts since I was a child (I am now in my 40s). She worked at another salon back in the day, and we would always request Bing as our stylist. When she opened her own salon, we were thrilled! After going to other stylists during college and in my 20s, I was so happy to come back to Bing's affordable, excellent cuts. Bing has styled my hair in different ways over the years and is always able to adapt requested styles to my particular hair type. Once I settle on a style, Bing remembers it at every visit. Now that I am starting to get some grey, Bing has great suggestions for adding low-maintenance highlights. I highly recommend Bing's excellent salon!
If you haven't had your hair done at Bing's, you should go see her (tip - call for an appointment). I've been getting my hair done by Bing for 15 years now and she did a great job each time. First, she gives salon quality at below salon prices. Second, she's been cutting hair for like 20 years but also keeps up with the latest styles. Third, she's got a great personality and is fun to chat with. Lastly, she's follows the COVID safety rules carefully. Check her out next time you need a haircut!
The shops is beautiful, clean and tidy and Bing gives the best haircuts! She’s quick, doesn’t overcharge and it always turns out great. I would 100% recomend!! She’s super friendly too and doesn’t pressure you to tip. She also gives out lollipops lol.
This review is long overdue, I began going to Bing's salon because of its location. It is incredibly close to my home & work. To my knowledge it is the owner and her assistant Tina who work there. When first scheduling an appointment, Tina began doing my hair. She expressed being a salon owner for many years herself, and explaining that she closed her salon to work closely with her colleague. I felt good, and a lot of comfort knowing I was being taken care of by someone with knowledge. I would frequently go in for touch ups. Please note, my hair is blonde so I knew the cost would be a little higher than an average touch up. When I first began to see Tina, the charge was around $250. I began to notice an increase of an additional $50 per month. I also noticed how much hair I was losing. Confused, because of the fact that I have always had blonde hair & had never lost as much as I was losing, I questioned if perhaps her techniques or products were changed or changing? She admitted leaving the bleach on for too long, and another time explaining that due to the window being left open, the "air" caused for the damages and loss to my hair. My profession is not in cosmetology, but it did not sound correct to me. Unfortunately after me voicing my opinion I noticed a drastic change in services. While being serviced, other clients would arrive early for their appointments and mine would not be complete. I was asked a few times to help blowdry my hair myself after it was washed, and to help myself to the hair tools if needed. In my opinion, if a client arrives early to their appointment, I strongly feel, your work should be complete before moving onto the next. After losing a profoundly amount of hair and the services no longer being the same. I felt a talk was my best option. I expressed my feelings about the damages, & hair loss, and questioned why I was not informed of the amount of hair falling out while it was being washed. Unfortunately it seemed like the only concern was for the product that was made to touch up my hair. She stated it being a waste of product if I was not going to touch up. That my hair will "eventually" grow back, and to go back to see her in a few months. Hair is an asset. when you have full beautiful hair. You feel beautiful. For anyone seeking, I highly recommend going elsewhere to where your hair is valued, and not your money. Hope this review helps.
