About

Binh Beauty Salon is listed on FindALoco in Charlotte, NC with address, phone, website, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Beauty Salon.

Binh Beauty Salon is a beauty salon at 1615 Arnold Dr, Charlotte, NC 28205, serving people looking for haircuts, trims, styling, and highlights in Charlotte, North Carolina. Customer experiences describe a practical, locally rooted salon where the focus is on the haircut itself. Reviewers mention visits for straightforward medium-length cuts as well as more substantial changes, including a shorter style after years without a haircut. If you have a particular look in mind, bringing a reference photo and explaining what you want can help begin the consultation clearly.

Hair services mentioned by customers include cuts for Asian men’s hair, blunt cuts, trims, styling, and highlights. One long-time customer said they had returned for cuts and trims for more than five years and was pleased with their highlights. Another reviewer described showing Binh a photo before getting a shorter cut. These individual accounts offer useful examples, but they do not guarantee a particular result; hair texture, the requested style, and the consultation all matter. For wavy hair or a layered cut, consider discussing how the stylist will check the shape and evenness before the appointment gets underway.

The salon may suit Charlotte residents seeking a simple haircut, a trim, or a Vietnamese-speaking salon experience. A reviewer noted that staff can speak Vietnamese, and another described the establishment as clean and mentioned parking behind the building. A customer also characterized the pricing as affordable, though prices can change and the review does not establish current rates. Contact the salon to confirm the cost of your requested service, language preferences, and whether you need to book ahead.

Reviews are mixed, so setting expectations is worthwhile. Some customers praise Binh’s skill, care, and results, while another reported being double-booked and unhappy with a rushed cut. The listed rating is 4.1 from 119 reviews, reflecting a range of experiences rather than a promise about any individual visit. When you arrive, share your desired length, shape, and styling preferences, and ask questions if you are unsure about the plan. Confirming your appointment in advance may also help avoid a wait or scheduling confusion.

Binh Beauty Salon is open Monday through Wednesday and Friday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Thursday hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Hours and availability may change, so verify before traveling. Located on Arnold Drive in Charlotte’s 28205 ZIP code, the salon offers a convenient option for people nearby who want to discuss a haircut, trim, style, or highlights directly with the stylist. A clear reference photo, an honest conversation about your hair, and confirmation of timing and price can help you decide whether the salon fits your needs.

First red flag was being double booked, there’s only one guy cutting hair and two people with 7pm slots. The whole cut took maybe 20 mins, didn’t even wet my hair, I have wavy hair so how els would he know it’s cut evenly, spoiler alert he didn’t. You can clearly see the choppy layers in the front and back. My BANGS, omfg my bangs. I told him I just wanted to even it out and I didn’t want it shorter. In the second picture you can clearly see the rogue short hair amongst the longer pieces in my damn BNGS… like why is it all of a sudden short in the middle so choppy and unblended. All iPhone photos are dated, that last picture is legit how my hair looked that SAME DAY BROOO. All I wanted were shorter and rounder layers with face framing pieces. If I could give out negative stars for reviews I would. Icing on the cake is that i told him it looked choppy and he said no it don’t. Like point blank no. He elaborated later that if he “blends” it out it would be many layers which he reminded is not what i asked for. Don’t come here, pay the extra amount for professional cut at an established salon. Im so disappointed.

After waiting a little bit Bihn said hello and asked me how I wanted my hair cut. I showed him a picture he said ok and went to work. His style was one I'd only seen in a movie. My hair was long but after about 5 or 6 years of no haircuts I took the plunge of a shorter style. His style reminded me of Edward Scissorhands. He was amazingly fast and accurate with his craft. I love my cut and play with my hair alot more now. Thank you Bihn for a good experience and a great cut. Below are pics and a picture with Bihn. He was wonderful.

It’s always a struggle to find a barbershop that can cut asian men hair well, but Binh has got the skills!! You can genuinely tell he cares when cutting and styling. There is parking in the back, the establishment is clean, and the staff can speak Vietnamese. The pricing is very affordable ($25 for a men’s haircut), and I get compliments from other Asian guys asking where I get my hair cut. Highly recommend!

If you are in the Charlotte area & looking for an inexpensive hair cut, I highly recommend Binh’s! I’m simple with my hair - blunt medium length cut. They are Vietnamese immigrants so I was more than willing to give them my business. That being said, they may be limited with speaking English, but their technique is on par with higher end salons I’ve been to (without the high price). I am very happy with my cut & couldn’t recommend them enough. Tip: call ahead to get an appointment so you don’t have to wait as long. I think there’s about two hair dressers working. Lastly, don’t forget to bring cash & tip!
