I’ve been visiting this store for over a year. It’s got everything on the wish list. I’ve been with my wife for over 33 years so I decided to take her shopping. We were just there for Mother’s Day and she didn’t want to go. We went. You know you’re in trouble with they greet you by your first name. Or maybe it’s just because they are good people and take the time to get to know you. Nancy waited on us, again. Sheis a handbag specialist super knowledgeable and nice. She took care of us. Happy wife is a happy life. If you’re looking for something for that special person but watching the funds I would recommend this place. They have it all, jewelry or a little something to put in your purse. Thank you to all of those who have waited on us in the past, from Travis to Jim and Ethan. Even Carl the firearm specialist helped us in April when we were looking at purses. Amazing group of people. Thank you

Yesterday I took some sterling silverware to Blue Diamond to sell. This was my 4th time going there and my second time selling to them and the first time was a good experience. But yesterday I’ll be honest I was having a bad day and I was responding to a work email while I was waiting and like I said I had relative confidence in their ethics and professionalism having done business with them prior. But unfortunately yesterday was not the same experience by far. I took in approximately 460 grams of 92.5 sterling silver. To which they offered me $438.00 which came out to less than 50% of the spot price yesterday afternoon. That’s not just unethical that is predatory. Now I have no faith in their professionalism or their ethics and I most likely will not be returning to blue diamond. I just wish it would have clicked sooner but I was so invested in the email I was sending to my job and frustrated that it just didn’t click until I was pulling out of the parking lot but by then the damage was done. So be careful taking anything to Blue Diamond if your not paying attention they will take advantage of you for hundreds of dollars. I’ll be posting this on any other platform I can leave a review on to give people a heads up cause like I said less then 50% of the spot price is far beyond unethical and people should know so at least maybe they can get a fair offer. David, no at this time unfortunately I’m not going to take my review down because even if what your saying is accurate (395.4 grams vs. “approximately 460” grams) that would make it like 58-59% of the spot value which far off from what a high end bullion dealer would typically offer (70-80%) and I have no doubt that you have clients as you are saying but that is irrelevant because you can easily give them fair deals and still take advantage of the little guy. And it’s just disappointing because I could have went to a pawn shop by my house if I wanted to get that kind of offer but I I drove all the way across town and put my trust in your company because I believed that I could trust y’all to give me a fair offer and I just don’t feel like that is what happened so like I said at this time unfortunately I won’t be removing my review. Have a nice day!

I sold some scrap jewelry here today. The transaction itself was straightforward, but I left wishing I had been more informed before making the sale. One of the pieces was a 14k gold chain with a genuine natural 0.33 ct solitaire diamond pendant. During the transaction, David explained to me that smaller diamonds hold “no value,” so they are weighed and priced along with the 14k gold. As someone who isn’t in the jewelry industry, I accepted that explanation at the time. After doing more research, I’ve learned that while smaller diamonds may not command a high resale price, a genuine natural diamond can still have independent value. I also learned that my 14k gold was purchased at approximately 69% of its melt value based on the spot price that day, which is at the very low end of the commonly cited payout range for scrap 14k gold and even slightly below the typical starting point of that range. Had I known these things beforehand, I would have asked more questions, requested that the diamond be removed and returned to me if it wasn’t being purchased, and obtained additional quotes before selling. I would also encourage anyone selling jewelry to ask upfront what percentage of melt value is being offered for their gold before agreeing to a transaction. I have always trusted the process and never felt the need to ask these questions ahead of time because I believed I was making informed decisions. This time- Instead, I left feeling foolish and disappointed that I didn’t know enough to ask. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I no longer feel comfortable referring my clients, family and friends here, I’m sharing my experience simply to encourage others to educate themselves beforehand, ask specifically how gemstones are handled when attached to another asset and how they will be valued, confirm the percentage being paid on precious metals, and obtain multiple offers before deciding to sell their jewelry. I can’t say I see 69% buy price as fair and find it flabbergasting someone who owns a store with the word diamond within it, can claim they hold “no value.

I have found my new business to sell gold, silver, coins, and jewelry. Every staff member was extremely professional and approachable. I worked with Rick Souddress. He was very informative, patient and respectful. Rick answered all of my questions which really put me at ease. From start to finish, I felt very safe. Gabriella McCoy provided needed information about the purchasing of items from the store. She was very knowledgeable about items displayed in the cases. I was very at ease discussing different items of jewelry. She was very knowledgeable. I will definitely return to Blue Diamond. It was a great experience working with this a business. I will recommend Blue Diamond to friends and family.
