I’m honestly not recommending anyone get braces here. I got mine when I was 18 and went to the consultation by myself without my parents. They told me I needed eight teeth extracted all four wisdom teeth and four perfectly healthy teeth. I had an overbite, so I trusted them because they’re the doctors and they had already scanned my teeth. I didn’t even tell my parents until after everything was done… and later I realized how unnecessary it was. After years of braces, I’m left with gaps everywhere. Food gets stuck, floss slides right through because my teeth don’t even touch. I have at least five noticeable gaps that never fully closed. And here’s the wild part: my last tooth bite was literally facing outward. The day they took off my braces, I told the doctor and he had the audacity to say, “Oh! I just noticed it now. So… do you want to keep your braces on to fix it or not?” Like… huh??? Aren’t YOU the one who’s supposed to FIX my teeth? What kind of question is that? On top of that, every visit was a mess. Either I waited an hour, or the front desk harassed me about being late even though my doctor only worked there once a month. Yes, once a month. They never told me that before I committed. If I missed one appointment, I had to wait a whole month to see him again. What kind of office even runs like that? I really wish I had gone for second opinions before letting them do anything.

Completely HORRIBLE bed side manners done by Dr. Thanh Son The ladies are always nice in the front - I've been going over here for over five years ever since I've moved to California. My doctor for chip fill in - Thanh Son is the most arrogant and rude doctor ever. Regardless of his skills: his comments of not caring, making the chip fill in a serious issue and with a tone that sounded like I was signing up for a serious procedure, and would make weird comments when he was working. For example; I chipped my tooth with saving a cat up the tree, it seriously did happen and when I gave the reason - he told me that he hated cats and wouldn't care if cats died but having a dog dying would make him sad?! I was baffled while in my chair and couldn't even say anything. Afterwards, I was commenting on a white spot on my teeth that I had for a couple of years. He told me, it's my problem and he doesn't care. Wonderful my local dentist telling me he doesn't care about an issue with my TEETH! Again this doctor Thanh Son needs to seriously work on his bedside manners.

When you get permanent work done here make sure you ask for the length of your warranty. Apparently the warranty for a $3000 implant is a year. I'm sure the place my parents have gone to have been at least 2 years. I got mine done back in 2022 and found out the screw was so loose it was painful and my face was swollen a week ago and Thu at their front desk told me to just pop few Tylenols for it. A week later I showed up and they took an X-Ray and told me normally it's 150 to twist tbe tooth back in place but since l'm an old patient they'll charge $70. This place makes me laugh. Doctor was getting to me next and then they brought him back to help another patient when they realized I needed more treatment. HAHAHA This place is laughable indeed Update: it’s actually $200 and they claim the “doctor” is charging this price. The treatment for me is that he’ll be putting in a healing bolt in place of my implant tooth cap and wait 2 months for my bones to heal. For $200. Yall don’t come here you’re getting ripped off.

My husband and I have been coming to Bolsa Dental for over five years for our cleanings, and we couldn’t be happier with the care we receive. We recently had teeth whitening done for the first time, and the results were incredible! As always the staff was welcoming and professional, making the whole process smooth and comfortable. The doctors are gentle, attentive, and always check in to make sure we’re doing okay, which makes such a huge difference. Definitely would recommend!
