BOSTON AUTO WERKS INC

BOSTON AUTO WERKS INC is an auto repair shop at 155 Shirley St in Winthrop, MA, serving local drivers who want a dependable place to bring their vehicles when a problem needs attention. Customer reviews describe a team known for honesty, reliability, and considerate service, including owner Paul and team members such as Anthony. The shop has a 5.0 rating from 18 reviews. For residents looking for an auto repair shop in Winthrop, those comments offer a useful picture of a business where customers value being listened to and treated fairly, not simply getting a repair completed.

Reviews mention brake work as one example of the shop’s automotive service. One customer, after experiencing a problem with a caliper following brake work elsewhere, says they were referred to Paul and appreciated the attention and honest help they received. Other reviewers describe bringing in vehicles with different issues, including a customer who asked about transmission trouble affecting two family cars. That review notes that the shop could not do much for those transmission problems at its location and recommended another shop with relevant experience. It is a practical sign that the team may direct customers elsewhere when a particular repair is outside what they can handle.

The customer experience sounds personal and straightforward. Reviewers mention returning to Paul and his team over multiple years, choosing the shop again after moving back to the area, and recommending it to other drivers. One customer calls the team professional and praises its customer service, while another highlights the mechanic’s honesty and the quality of the work. Taken together, these accounts suggest a neighborhood repair shop suited to drivers who appreciate clear communication, a mechanic who takes their concerns seriously, and a team willing to make a referral when needed. The reviews do not identify a signature dish or a specialty beyond the automotive work customers describe.
