Poke bowls receive some of the strongest praise in customer comments. One regular reviewer says they have ordered from Bubble Tea Room for nearly a year and especially value the quality, price, and portion size compared with other Philadelphia-area options. That account suggests the bowls may suit diners who want a filling meal at a comparatively accessible price. As with any restaurant, individual experiences can differ, but the positive feedback makes poke a notable item to consider when exploring the menu.
Ramen is another item mentioned by customers, though opinions are mixed. Some reviewers describe a satisfying first visit or say that most of their order was delicious, while others felt the broth, meat, or overall preparation fell short of what they expected from ramen. Bubble tea and smoothies also appear in the feedback, including a mango smoothie; one customer, however, was unhappy with the boba in their drink. These varied comments offer a realistic picture: guests may find dishes and drinks they enjoy, but experiences are not uniformly positive.
The atmosphere and service feedback is similarly varied. Some customers mention a friendly staff member or an effort to correct an order without an extra charge, while others report order mistakes or service that did not meet their expectations. The listed customer rating is 3.7 from 55 reviews, reflecting a range of experiences rather than universal approval. For a first visit, it may be helpful to review the current menu and confirm order details, especially when ordering for a group or choosing a dish you have not tried before.
Bubble Tea Room is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; Tuesday hours are listed as 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Hours can change, so checking before a visit is sensible. To be fair, this was my first time going to a Ramen restaurant and was very unsure about what to order. First off, the Mango Smoothie was decent, but the Boba they put in it was very musky tasting almost kinda moldy tasting. Maybe it was old? Not sure. The Ramen I did receive was not very good. I asked the girl at counter for a very specific Ramen dish, and she kinda just brushed off my request. Instead I got stuck with Pork Ramen. The pork was not very good, the noodles were undercooked, the broccoli was crunchy, and the broth itself was very watery and lacked flavor. I just didn’t not enjoy it at all. The atmosphere of this location was not very inviting. The staff were very dismissive and just made me feel like they did not want me there. I will not be returning to this location.
i love poke bowls and have tried so many spots in the Philly and bubble tea room is by far the best. I’ve been ordering from here for almost a year and no place beats the quality, price, and portion you get 100/10. other places charge higher and give you such a small amount but not at bubble tea room you get your moneys worth 🤍
Food was horrible, the chicken tasted like plastic, the bun was cold, and service was horrible when i asked for the burger to be cut in half They made me use a chopstick. Would not come again save yourself the money
First time trying and almost everything was delicious. I did doordash order with my friend. …
Super dead, decided to give it a shot for the prices. Got my order wrong 2 times, but they changed it for free at least. The lady working the counter was nice but the food was just below standard. The ramen was more Chinese styled, super thin broth, broccoli, and really thick and hard meat. The Burger set meal was actually a chicken set meal, fried chicken was still undercooked. Overall, nice worker lady but the food was below standard
