Cafe Frida- Coffee & Pastries

I tried to stop here a few months ago on Saturday, but the parking lot was so full that I went somewhere else. Now I know that I missed out on wonderful coffee, food, atmosphere, and people. I worked here for over four hours today (weekday, so not taking up needed space). I was able to sit by a plug so my technology never died. I had a salted caramel foam top iced latte and the Everything Avocado toast to begin. Both were incredibly delicious. I will probably dream about that toast tonight. After several hours of work, I needed something else and chose the egg salad sandwich. The bread was soft and flavorful. The egg salad was creamy and simple in the best way. The ridged potato chips were lightly seasoned. I normally throw away potato chips, but I didn’t throw these away. As a matter of fact, I requested a to go box for the leftover half of sandwich and chips. I can’t wait to eat them both tomorrow! Definitely check this place out. It is worth navigating the tricky parking!

I LOVE this place sooo much !!! I was not a matcha person before and the horchata matcha made change my mind BUT the banana matcha changed me FOREVER ❤️ the coffee is sooo good too and the breakfast sandwich they added are soo good too. Also the food vendors they have on the weekends are sooooo good too!! I highly recommend yall to stop by and try all of the delicious food/drinks/ desserts. 1000/10

Cafe Frida is such a cute cafe nestled in Garland. Its spacious, with ample seating and outlets! They also have an ice cream shop as well separated by a door. I ordered a banana matcha with oat milk and it wasn’t overly sweet which i appreciate. I enjoyed it but I could’ve wished for more banana flavoring to come through. It said it came with banana milk but I asked if I wanted whole milk or an alternative so I wonder why the banana milk isn’t standard. I think it would’ve enhanced the flavor. Oh and the menu notes ceremonial grade matcha for anyone wondering. The space is vibrant and bright with lots of decor going on. It seemed like a very popular spot with customers bustling in for a few hours. I’ll be back to try some more matcha drinks and maybe the ice cream too.

Loved the mango matcha! My friend went ahead and got a latte and it was so good. The atmosphere is beautiful and I love the warm lighting which makes it perfect for studying or simply catching up with a friend. There’s an ice cream shop on the other side with their own flavors of ice cream. Plus the girls working the front were very friendly!

Chrizza was so sweet I think she deserves a raise! Cafe frida has some awesome interior design with some amazing graffiti that I very much love! I had the strawberry horchata matcha and it was… literally so. good omg I can’t wait to be back!!!!
