Cafe Hana

I love this place, it has a very cozy atmosphere and the ladies that are working are always friendly and very welcoming! They do close pretty early so on the rare days that i can get off work or school early i try to make my way before they close, or before they stop making food! I came in one day close to closing time and the egg salad was one of the food items that was available that late. It is one of the best egg salad sandwiches ive ever had, definitely recommend it. The chicken namban was new to me and it was very delicious as well! I was surprised by the size of the chicken alone! They do not skimp on their portion sizes! Very good taste from both sandos! Now the matcha is something that they do very well here at Cafe Hana. The hojica is a roasted green tea drink and it has a very warm and smoky taste, the regular matchas you cant go wrong with any of them, they arent too sweet which is good because then you can pair it with a pastry! Now, the melon pan. It is perfect for eating with coffee! To me, it is comparable to a mexican concha, but not as crumbly! The bread itself and the top layer are a bit more dense but the flavors are very similar!

Super authentic Japanese Cafe in Irving! If I could order 100 of everything and not be full I would. The Takoyaki tasted like ones we’ve had in Asakusa, super creamy texture on the inside and crispy outside. Matcha was a delight, not sweet like most places. I’m not a huge fan of Udon but the Mentaiko Udon was absolutely oishiii (DELICIOUS). We got a special Teishoku, but I’m sure no matter what flavor you get, you can’t go wrong with it. 100% recommend.

I randomly found this cafe looking for coffee and fall in love! It's such a cute cafe with a cozy atmosphere. All of the staff were super welcoming. They have a lot of drink options that I've never seen before like the Earl Grey Peach Tea. I will definitely be coming back soon 😋

The fish sandwich is amazing 😍 They also have authentic Japanese deserts like cheesecake, matcha pudding and strawberry sandos, a perfect summer dessert. I feel lucky to have this place in las colinas. They have sweet staff, relaxing music and good food. I just wish they had more comfortable seating, it is more of an eat and go type of place than a coffee shop to sit and stay a while.

Cute Japanese Cafe. I stayed for a good hour. The place isn’t really meant for you to stay for a long time. The chairs become uncomfortable after a long period of time. People come and go. I usually see a lot of take outs. Some people sit down while waiting for their drink or order. I would have stayed a little longer but there was no wifi. I did enjoy lunch and my drink. I would have loved to have dessert but I feel like the place isn’t very tight. I can get a little noisy once it gets packed. The servers were very nice. There is ample parking.
